Twitter api fees are more than reddit are charging. It's how reddit justified the fee. Twitter is such a shit show now it could be a coincidence, they saw an opportunity or another

From a 3rd party dev on reddit...

Had a call with Reddit to discuss pricing. Bad news for third-party apps, their announced pricing is close to Twitter's pricing, and Apollo would have to pay Reddit $20 million per year to keep running as-is.
Hey all,
I'll cut to the chase: 50 million requests costs $12,000, a figure far more than I ever could have imagined.
Apollo made 7 billion requests last month, which would put it at about 1.7 million dollars per month, or 20 million US dollars per year. Even if I only kept subscription users, the average Apollo user uses 344 requests per day, which would cost $2.50 per month, which is over double what the subscription currently costs, so I'd be in the red every month.
I'm deeply disappointed in this price. Reddit iterated that the price would be A) reasonable and based in reality, and B) they would not operate like Twitter. Twitter's pricing was publicly ridiculed for its obscene price of $42,000 for 50 million tweets. Reddit's is still $12,000. For reference, I pay Imgur (a site similar to Reddit in user base and media) $166 for the same 50 million API calls.
fees... It's less than twitter.
Holy fuck. How do the 3rd party Twitter clients stay afloat?

I'd pay £45m for his mum.

Sure you would, Mr. Skipp.

WTF does that mean and what is data scraping?

API is basically what let's third-party apps put in requests for data from the Reddit servers. Apps don't work without it. Reddit now wants to charge a fortune for them, meaning a bunch of third party apps have to shut down.

Data scraping it lifting large data sets directly from Reddit (or any other big collection of data), usually for the purposes of training AI - Reddit doesn't like this as they feel like companies should be paying them for that data.

I think, anyway. Might not be 100% accurate, but I should be in the right ballpark.

Why ? And if homegrown is all you can muster that’s a sad state of affairs.

Skipp is the future Harry Winks.
No - it's got nothing to do with 'homegrown'. I couldn't care less about that. It's because Skipp's a good, strong, energetic, forward-thinking, skilful, athletic, sharp, attack-minded midfielder. If you think he's anything like Winks, you need your brain tested.

If you can't see his potential, you're the sad state of affairs.

I can but he was really bad for the last few months last season. Definitely not writing him off but alarm bells ringing

According to Fabrizio Romano, Bayern are willing to let go of Sabitzer for 15/17m....that is astonishingly cheap for a player that was playing sublime football only 1.5-2 years ago at Leipzig. 1000% worth a punt!
We don't need midfielders though...

We have Bissouma, Bentancur, Skipp, Sarr and Maddison. That's if we're counting PEH, GLC and Nodmbele as sold.

But there is a baller there, no don’t get me wrong he doesn’t give a fuck about the chicken badge, il I wait and see, u won’t write him off yet, after all won a league call n his loan spell, maybe as a bit part player but we can’t just cull him at his cost.

Give me a break I’ve spent from
10am this morning at my daughters friends birthday, I’ve literally been through hell.

I’ve edited this 4 times abs still don’t show hunk it makes sense… it’s bed time for me.
The thing about Ndombele is that he seems to be a bit of a loner. I don't know if the other players ever put an arm around him (at least when he signed initially) or if he just retreated to himself and became unapproachable. Aside from Serge and Mousa, who are long gone, did he even have any friends in the squad? Did he have any friends while at Napoli? There's something amiss with him outside his 'lazy" attitude. Maybe Ange is the right person to figure it out. I dunno...

Agree, if I was Ange he would be the one I would try and extend an arm around. I strongly believe he’s only an attacking player; never a 6/8. Can beat people for fun and slot diags….. I do think players like Lloris and Kane have helped him a bit bit think you raise a fair point

I do think he’s really just a big introvert and people definitely have a tendency to mistake that for rudeness.

Well, if you sell those three you definitely need another. Bentancur is returning from ACL. Bissouma, Maddison Skipp all prone to missing games and/or lengthy absence. Sarr untested. Skipp a modest player on recent evidence, though hopefully improves on that. I'd be mortified if we went into the season with those 5 and nothing more.
