Yeah, a much smarter complexion.

Y'all have lost the plot on the Kane situation.
Kane is irreplacable. I'd much rather take the gamble on losing him on a free next summer than get £80m which buys you very little these days. We can't get near to replacing Kane with that.

Our best hope is to buy some defenders , have a real good season. win a domestic trophy and get back into the top four and then he might decide to sign a new deal.

That's much more palatable to me than taking an insulting £80m for one of the best strikers in world football.

He can play both sides too (Gil started making headway on the right last season too so either could mix it up)....

Son / Kane / Kulu
(Gil/Solomon/Rich) / (Rich) / (Gil/Solomon)
Bentancur / Biss / Maddison
(Sarr) / (Skipp) / (???)

..........Now get them CBs sorted you fuckers!!! :contepoint:

Very balanced attack, happy with that.

Those CB's need to be sorted though you're right, would be happy with Tapsoba and Tosin personally.

I would prefer Solomon over Harvey Barnes, he fits Ange's system better.

Barnes is a poor dribbler and in the bottom 2 percentile for successful dribble % vs Solomon who was in the top 87th percentile.

I don't think Solomon will displace anyone in the 1st 11, but could be an amazing super sub with his dribbling ability, speed, quick feet and he is also in the 99th percentile for both tackles made and % of dribblers tackled, which is handy for a high press. He can also play LW & RW and considering Ange subbed both wingers in all but 5 league games last year, could be a very important player from the bench.
Theres always stats. I remember seeing a ton of them when questioning the point of Danjuma in January. Again would we be going for Solomon if he were £10m/£15m? Opportunistic signings rarely come good. Not saying he's rubbish but i just question the motives behind it. Just feels a bit like our transfer philosophy of the last 5 or 6 years, cheap or free and available, not someone to really push into the team.

No

Bald Cunt offered a a couple more grands per week, more that Fulham (his level as a player) were willing to offer
No that's not true. His agent will be demanding a much larger salary increase, a big signing-on and a big agent fee. This is a player that had a lot of clubs interested when he was at Shakhtar.

Free agents at this level are never cheap (see Dybala last season).

Sell Kane now and I guarantee you a mid table finish next season
I agree!

I guarantee you many more mid-table finishes after that if we can't strengthen this squad with the massive injection of funds from selling Kane.

It's literally reasoning as if future seasons don't exist.

Kane's willingness to go abroad is both great news for us, and also absolute 100% confirmation that he will never sign another contract with Spurs.
