I think signing 3 CBs would mean Dier, Sanchez, Rodon, Tanganga are all sold which just seems unlikely to me.
Has he just had a guess there?
Seem to be busy signing players, however we really do to start shipping a few out.
He's not ready to be 4th choice. He's only just turned 18 and was only just breaking in to the u21s towards the end of the season. Needs a full season with u21s, with opportunities on the first team bench in cup games etc and then maybe a football league loan. Have high hopes for him but need patience

AMSTERDAM - Tottenham Hotspur appear to trump Bayern Munich and Liverpool in the battle for Micky van de Ven (22). The Londoners reached a verbal agreement with the VfL Wolfsburg defender on a contract until the summer of 2028, sources around the Premier League club report.
Van de Ven, who played with the Dutch national team at the European Under-21 Championship last week and has yet to undergo the medical in London, has the clubs to choose from after his good season in the Bundesliga, but Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy proved to be by far the most decisive. At the Premier League club, the Dutchman will earn a multiple of his VfL Wolfsburg.
But first the clubs still need to reach an agreement. VfL Wolfsburg wants a fee of around 40 million euros for the contract of the 1.93-metre tall defender, who was brought to the German club in the summer of 2021 by then coach Mark van Bommel, which runs until the summer of 2027. The final transfer fee is expected to be around €35 million.
That would be great news for FC Volendam, who collected 3.5 million euros when Van de Ven was sold in 2021 and negotiated a 15 per cent sell-on percentage.

Yep. Gooners backed Arteta by dumping the likes of Laca and Auba which I’m sure (but don’t know) cost them a few quid in payoff. Once Ange has had a really good look and decided who is deffo surplus to requirements we need to get them off the books even if we take a hit on transfer fees
Yeah I think you are right. Maybe we will come back in for Tapsoba though if we manage to offload some of those. We need two new ones in though definitely.
