From that list, we all know Loris is going, just a matter of time. Sanchez won’t be starting whether we can shift him or not. Given we will only play 4 at the back, only one of Davies or Sess would start - but I doubt either will.

Son and Kane were all want playing anyway. Which leaves Dier, Royal and Tanguy. I will be pissed off if Dier is starting more than a handful of games next season, we can’t force him out but he should be getting splinters. Royal i like, he improved a lot and there is definitely a place for him. Tanguy, up to Ange, if it’s true that Ange likes him then we have to back the manager.

95% of his career mins at lwb .. saw him play lb once for Italy u21's vs Luxembourg and he was pretty good. Full back is the easiest position for a good player to figure out, if they have the physique. Spence and Udogie are built for it, just need to play games.
According to Transfermarkt, 66 games at LWB, 43 games at LB and 5 at CM, so much less than 95%.

Exactly, we got excellent value from Dier for the money we paid.

The problem is the huge number of players who cost £30m plus and have given us nothing. Sess, Reguilon, Gil, Sanchez, Ndombele, Lo Celso, Spence, Richarlison. That lot cost us £300m. Those are the players that have killed us.
Sess, Sanchez, Tanguy, Lo Celso - Poch
Reggie, Gil - Jose
Spence, Richarlison - Conte

Chopping and changing manager every 18 months leads to a lot of spare parts not fitting. Lo Celso and Tanguy had 2/3 months under Poch before he was fired. Sess is always injured and Sanchez is just not good enough.

Gil will never make it in the Prem, completely incompatible. Reggie is a victim of the constant manager changes, Jose liked him, Conte didn’t, they expected different thing from the full backs/wing backs - that’s why we have 8 senior full backs on the book and are still being linked with the likes of Singo and now Cucurella - on transfer fees alone we have spent circa £170m on full backs in the last 5 years.

Spence and Richarlison. Spence just hasn’t been given a chance, that is irrefutable, we’ve just not played him. A young player that we shipped off on loan early, it’s not like he would be the first youngster we brought from the Championship that just needed a bit of time - remember us nearly selling Bale to Forest for £3m until an injury meant we kept him as cover for another 6 months. Richarlison, poor first season but he is a fighter, I think we will see a different player this year.

I do think it’s pure negligence that a CB was not in the door the first week of the window. I wonder what our scouts/ transfer committee do when the window closes because it seems ridiculous to me that we’re trying to decide whether VDV or Tapsoba is the better fit/deal - you had 6 months fuckers, pull your thumb out.

I get things change, but really what is the delay here

Ha.ha:roflmao:. You'd have a point if he didn't win things everywhere else he's managed :roflmao:

Are you gonna apply the same logic to Jose Mourinho failing here too!

Two managers win close on 40 trophies between them. Then both fail to win a pot to piss in between them working for L**y

Do you honestly not see the connection :mourweird:
Got him past his best, just like Jose.

Levy gets a hard on for big name managers that won't succeed at spurs.

But you crack on with your belief that everything is Levy's fault.

The reality is of course that no one thing is to blame for our lack of success.

ENIC take some blame.
Managers take some blame.
Players take some blame.
I would argue the internal downgrading of certain competitions is the biggest factor though. The piss take line ups we keep putting out in the FA cup and then getting knocked out by Championship sides away, whilst Man City go full strength at home to Bristol City. The utter disdain we treated the Conference league with - ditto the Europa most years we’ve been in it.

We take the League and CL seriously - but we’re up against absolute juggernauts trying to win those. The League cup we tend to treat a bit better than the other second at competitions for whatever reason - probably the majority of games being pre Xmas. We have made the final of that 6 times in 24 years which is decent.

I will go fucking spare if we rest players in the cup games this season unless we do what Woolwich did last year and have a fairytale start that sees us pulling away in the league. Anything else in unacceptable

Seems the think Tapsoba is #1 but don't want to pay 50m. Figure they'll move on it this week before the team flies out

Yep and I think it's all linked to what happens with after Ange meets Kane. If Ange doesn't get the commitment vibes from Harry then Harry will be sold to Bayern, the money we receive will go on Tapsoba and VdV. If somehow Harry likes Ange and sees we are going in a positive direction and wants to stay and be a part of it by signing a new contract then we will sign just VdV

Basically if you want Tapsoba get ready to say auf weidersehen to Harry. :levystare:

Trouble with Daniel Levy is he's been at Spurs over 20 years and pulled the same shit time and again. The majority of the fan base have had their eyes opened. It's just the regime enthusiasts, like yourself who can't see this and its just fucking infuriating for the rest of us

I'm sorry my opinion infuriates you mate, perhaps you could take a break from caring about what others think, I really don't think it's worth getting that worked up over. I also really don't think it's the 'majority of the fan base'.

It might feel like the majority to you because the people you talk to feel the same (echo chamber) or because those voices are louder online after a few bad seasons but let's be honest. We start playing exciting football again and winning a higher percentage of games and those voices will get quieter.

I wouldn't ever take the pulse of an entire group of people by how many online warriors there are complaining on twitter and forums like this.

There’s an entire thread on ENIC and the nasty bald man. A thread which many of us have on ‘Ignore’ because it’s the same tired theme ad nauseum.

If you’re going to spam the transfer thread with posts that belong over there, the least you can do is treat us to decent spelling and grammar.

It's the same.old shit because Levy and ENIC never change and remain greedy and incompetent and unambitious but apparently that's fine in the eyes of some on here.

Indeed, people of your ilk would rather have a go at their fellow fans than dare admit that Levy is shit and ENIC need to go.

All the shit about spelling, tedious as fuck. Shows you lot really don't have a leg to stand on.

Some of you are on the wind-up now, surely?, One trophy under their tenure but let's blame everyone for this even though there's only one common denominator here.

They just do the bare minimum each summer and for that we're meant to be grateful?

As for players, I'm hoping we can bring in a couple of CBs and strengthen the midfield. I think Kane will stay, he'll string us along all season and then next summer he'll reunite with Pochettino at Chelsea on a free.

Maybe THAT will be the final straw for the members of the Levy & ENIC fanclub.

Maybe.
