I'm not even convinced of that tbh. They win the title so often, regardless as to who is coach and who plays for them, how would anyone really remember it?
No one is going to say "that Bayern team, the one with Kane in, was the greatest modern Bayern team of all time"
I think to achieve something above and beyond with them, they have to win the CL. Which isn't totally out of the question.
But as a Spurs fan, I'd rather win a league cup with Spurs than walk yet another German title. It's no better than Celtic winning domestic trebles all the time.
He would too but he's given us enough time to win something and we haven't won anything.

With Porto and Udogie as fullbacks we need the best centrebacks we can get.

Any updates on Perisic status? He is being linked with Hajduk (my club) and news (not sure if they are true) are that he will leave Spurs this month on a mutual agreement? Do you know anything about it, except twitter sources. And when will the list of players going on pre season tour be available? Thank you

I feel
Don’t really care about Kane’s ambitions or ‘loyalty’ tbf.

I support Spurs not Kane. Once he goes (if he goes) I couldn’t give a fuck if he wins anything or not.
I only bring it up because it plays a part in why he's leaving. I just want the deal done as soon as possible so we can get to work finding his replacement.

You can't really blame him for what happened next. That's entirely on Levy.
No coaches walk away, there's too much money. And we're all a tad in the dark as to what was on the table contract wise. We all assume it would have ended June 1st, but no one really knows outside of a select few.
I kinda feel like had he not been let down time and again by his players, he might well have soldiered on to the end of the season in a better mood.
I knew he wanted out for sure when he put a CB on against Milan when we were 1 down and needed a goal. That' the sort of move someone makes when they just CBA anymore. And that's when Greedy bollocks should have pulled the trigger.

I actually think one of the most annoying things in modern football is managers contracts. They can have a complete breakdown in the relationship and get sacked and get paid for that.
I would LOVE to have a job like that.
Oh yea 100%, that’s fully on the club.

Conte was an awful fit for Spurs from the start, but for me it all got made worse by his complete lack of modern management and coaching. Sure you can say that he was let down by players, but he equally had players performing at their worst.

It seems we are working on 1 deal at a time, presumably a centreback at the moment. We have been linked with Ibanez, Tapsoba, Tosin, Kidman, Vdv ,Nelson, McGuire and now the Japanese lad. What’s happening , just waiting for the cheapest, surely there’s a pecking order, a first choice so why no offers ? We leave for our tour in a few days so there should be a little more urgency. By the way I know I’ve spelt Kidman instead of Kidman but I started to fantasise so left it.
I doubt Kane will go before the tour is over, it’s because of him we are probably being paid big bucks to go on the tour in the first place.
Kidman instead of Kidman??.........🤔

Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly interested in signing Tottenham goalkeeper and captain Hugo Lloris.

It comes as the French giants announced the appointment of new coach Luis Enrique earlier this week, who will replace Christophe Galtier as the club's new permanent manager.

Lloris, who has spent 11 years at Tottenham, becoming a senior member of the squad, revealed last month that he wanted to leave the club, despite signing a new two year contract with Spurs in 2022.

And according to Record Sport, he could be about to make a move to the French club, who are looking for a competitor to vie with Gianluigi Donnarumma between the sticks amid speculation over Keylor Navas' future in the French capital.

While those within the goalkeeper's camp had reportedly believed Lloris, who has been at the club since 2012, could leave on a free, Daniel Levy (middle front) will seek a fee from PSG
while the 36-year-old is still contracted to Spurs, his loyalty and long-standing commitments to the club meant that some inside his camp had hoped that he could be able to leave on a free transfer this summer.

But that looks unlikely, with reports suggesting that Spurs chairman, Daniel Levy, will look to get a fee from PSG for Lloris, who has played 447 matches for the London club, while keeping 151 clean sheets during that time.

It comes as Ange Postecoglou is set to undergo a big summer clear out at the London side, with 10 players on his list to be axed.

Lloris' name is one of those included on that list, with the World Cup winner struggling to live up to his form of old, with both his club side and with France at the 2022 World Cup.

Lloris had already met with the Australian coach to hash out a plan for his future, but that hasn't stopped the London side from perusing the transfer market for a new keeper.

Last week, they announced the signing of Empoli goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario in a £17million deal that will keep the 26-year-old in north London for five years.

They've also been linked with Chelsea's Edouard Mendy, who is on the verge of a move to Al-Ahli and had approached Brentford's David Raya, but were unsuccessful in their attempts to sign the Spanish keeper.

Should Levy demand Paris pay for Lloris, they may be more than able to front up the cash, having recently recouped some funds following the departures of Lionel Messi and Sergio Ramos this summer.

The Parisians have already splashed the cash this summer, siging Manuel Ugarte from Sporting Lisbon, Hugo Ekitike from Stade Remis and Lee Kang-in from RCD Mallorca.

They have also done some very savvy business, acquiring Marco Asensio and Milan Skriniar from Real Madrid and Inter Milan on free transfers.
