I don't see how it's possible to not mention ENIC and Levy in a thread about transfers.

If you genuinely have difficulties separating the two things and using basic context then that's on you.

We sometimes talk about Postacoglu in here seeing as we are buying players for his team yet it doesn't result in a shit fest unlike the ENIC thing.

You might want to talk about them in the appropriate thread.

There’s almost no reason to and if so only in a tangential way.

What we get here though is exactly the same crap that’s posted in the ENIC thread duplicated (as many of us can’t be bothered to read what’s written there) because nobody can put the babies in the corner so they need to fling their shit on every wall.
It’s the same dull memes ad infinitum, ad nauseum.

How many times do I need to be told that Levy is bald and Joe Lewis is old and lives on a yacht ?

I’m not convinced on Vlahovic, but at the very least we’d have a player that can press and lead the the line, in the traditional sense. I also think he does work hard for the team, but more dropping deep and standard hold up play. I don’t think he has a great deal of guile about him. He’s not one for deft touches around the box. He’s quite an old fashioned number 9 in that way.

I expect it comes down to how much Juve would want. If it’s silly money they can obviously fuck off, but if it’s more manageable, he might be about as good as we can realistically expect.
I think he would do well in the Prem, he is a lump with speed and can finish. Bad year at Juve but they are as big a basket case as we are currently.

If they want Lukaku and Kane goes then I can def see this happening.

needs replacing if sold, Bentacur wont be match sharp until probably december, and then there's the chance he isnt the same.
Bentancur will come back stronger than he was. With ACL injuries if you rehab right on both sides you actually become stronger. When you are fit you don’t generally strengthen areas that aren’t injured so the amount of work he’ll be doing on either leg will be significantly more than he normally would.

Yeah I know but the Levybots will do their utmost to protect their Dear Leader.

Did you think of that all by your little self?

Sure it could come up from time to time. But it is just non stop. And there’s a thread for that.

Some of us just want to come to this thread for summer transfer news or to discuss football and we have to wade through the same levy in/out crap every day.
When I look in clutter it's mostly abusive way way of topic stuff. I do note what Admin said because he's easy going, if he's getting annoyed then people should tone things down in their posts with regards to the abuse and off topic stuff. I assure you that people won't like it, if this thread becomes SC mega strict.

If you don't like it, then just ignore it, best practice.

Agreed, should have been done the first week.
Unfortunately it looks as though no lessons have been learned.

Which lessons in particular? As there are two that I feel seem to be necessary for us to learn.

1) do the deal quick
2) get our most desired target for the position

If this is the CB we want above all others...

What if the player didn't want to start talking personal terms till last week and was considering his future?

Would you have wanted us to move on to the next target on wait to see if we could get something agreed? Honest question?

Im not sure every deal can be looked at through the same lens and perhaps we are trying to do this as quickly as we are allowed.

Not saying we haven't had problems signing some players quickly in the past, but in recent years we have done some deals relatively early on in the window and as such shows we have an appetite to make transfers when they are possible to be done, whenever in the window that might be.

If we secure our top CB target will that not be a learned lesson?

How is talking about Levy and ENICs transfer dealings on the Transfer Thread off-topic?!

Makes zero sense.

If only they had no impact at all and just signed the cheques!

Levy by all accounts is not handling these deals at the stages they are at so I don't see how he is personally relevant.

ENIC as an entity obviously has a hand in everything to do with the club so complaining about them could fit in any thread. Surely complaining about something that hasn't been done by them should go in the thread about them as typically these posts are nothing to do with the actual transfer and everything to do with bitching about the company.

Hoddle scored a winning goal in a cup final......Kane didn't......

That is a fact also......🤷‍♂️
A penalty against QPR in a terrible game.

I remember it well and I love Hoddle.

I'm not saying Hoddle wasn't great.

But anyone who says Hoddle didn't go missing at times is just wrong.

His NLD record, against a pretty poor Woolwich team for the vast majority of his Spurs career, is a real problem. Hoddle didn't miss many of these games through injury. He just rarely played well in these games.
