There’s a big difference in working out a £100million transfer than one involving about £30million.

I think it’s worth it to take a punt on young homegrown talent like that every summer or two. You don’t unearth players like Dele or Grealish without taking that leap.

He built his career in Poch’s system which was very similar at the time.

He will be fine but the question might be injuries. He has been managing his body and playing injury free for a couple seasons.

If he’s back to crazy football and pressing, tackling, harassing without the ball, then rolls his ankle…
 
Do people here genuinely think we're going to sign some more players before we go on tour?

Don't agree with you on Scott but do agree on Devine. In the same England u19 team, Devine looked the better player at times. At least technically.


They are different players though. Scott is suited to playing deeper and carrying the ball, Devine looks pretty comfortable further forward and recycling, creating.
