He had a bad year, doesn't mean he's a bad player. If its the same this season you can question that.

Jesus scored fewer for Woolwich than Richarlison did for Everton and people think he had a good season.
Jesus missed 3 months with injured. I’m judging Richarlison on last season because he was ok with Everton. Being a success at Tottenham is completely different. Some clubs are too big for certain players. I remember when Sigurdsson signed he was top notch but just never happened for him. Sometimes it just doesn’t work out for players. I hope it works for him but he’s got a lot to prove.

You have no fucking clue why the CB situation is taking so long. Woolwich still haven't signed Rice and Timber, Chelsea haven't signed Caicedo. Are they penny pinching idiots?

Seriously, mate, get a grip.
Bit of a ridiculous comparison. I mean, we can say with pretty much a certainty that Woolwich will sign Rice and Timber and Chelsea will sign Caicedo. Woolwich and Chelsea have held direct talks with both clubs and fees are agreed for all 3 players. It’s a matter of time and they’re all excellent, top level signings.

Meanwhile, we appear to be still faffing about trying to figure out which fee we can eek down lowest for either VDV or Tapsoba, before signing the cheaper option. There’s nothing agreed or seemingly imminent for either player.

Or maybe there is something agreed or close to being agreed, but keeping a tight lid on it. You know, a different scenario than what you would like it to be.

Ffs we have spent more than all but 3 clubs in net terms in the past 4 years. Worldwide.

Give it a rest.

No we haven't, Woolwich have overtaken us. And Villa and Newcastle are a shade behind. I.e the other clubs with ambitions of chasing the top 4 spots.

I'd also be interested to see how many clubs would overtake us if we looked at total packages offered incl. agent fees, wages etc.

We're a kinky bunch. Most clubs sign footballers.
We BDSM their agents first.

I don’t like your insinuation. It’s not about what I’d like, it’s about what years of supporting Spurs has led me to predict.

I of course hope we end up signing two quality centre backs, which we obviously need desperately, but the reporting from reliable journalists on the situation would not fill me with hope.

He is the best CF for Brazil he had to win the position off of Jesus and Firminho, he didn't get it given to him. To use him as an example of bad players playing for the national team by default /because they used to be a managers favourite was wrong.

Than Firminho??? In no way is he been better than him or will be better than him in his career. Jesus at the start of last season was brilliant for as much as I hate saying that.
Jesús misses more chances than he scores and benefits from being massively overhyped because he plays for media darlings.

Put him in Everton relegation battles and see who he is.

I do rate Firminho but he’s not a striker
