It’s the only logical explanation for some of the blinkered contrary views displayed on here from four or five continued nutcases. I suspect even the bald dwarf himself displays more self objectivity re: his leadership and decisions than Airfixx, Stevee, LeParisien etc. blind followers relentlessly trying to influence clear thinkers
That's Lenglet though?I've never understood why we don't aim to sign more experienced (29yr+) CB's to fit into the team rather than trying to find the next big thing in the 18-23 bracket. There are plenty of seasoned pro's who can play as a solid CB partner for our more unpredictable defensive talents and teach them a few tricks. I remember seeing Noureddine Naybet join us for a couple of seasons as a 33yr old and watching him alongside Ledley he displayed a number of the 'dark arts' that we really miss from our traditional CB choices and made King a more effective defender in the process.
I think you could also have said the same about Edgar Davids who joined us towards the end of his career but brought a cutting edge and aggression missing from our midfield play at the time. Unfortunately it seemed like his engine started to fade midway through his 2nd season.
There's a bit of a drought for decent experienced CB (Lenglet 28yr old maybe hoped he was that?) and decent CBs in general. Chelsea did well with silva but shit with Koulibaly.I've never understood why we don't aim to sign more experienced (29yr+) CB's to fit into the team rather than trying to find the next big thing in the 18-23 bracket. Put your feet up boy, you will have a long wait sonI'm expecting some sort of denunciation for this condescending post.
I'll wait.
So anyone who doesn't hold with your tin foil hat theory is 'naive or stupid,' and in the next breath you claim George is condescending? If you don't think the ownership of the club employ a public relations company to influence the fans across all forms of digital social media to then you are naive or stupid.
And less of the condescension George.
It doesn't suit you.
I am.
Oh dear, I've been "boyed" whatever shall I do.

That pretty much much kicks his argument into touch.
You've won the debate.

If I were you I'd walk away from this particular debate with this particular poster now.
No but I know their record transfer fee is 20m.
How much then? We've reported had bids come in of 9 and 10m already.
I don’t believe that personally - surely we would accept 10M and move him on. We have to churn at least 7 players and the clock is tickingHow much then? We've reported had bids come in of 9 and 10m already.
