Tottenham reject ‘official offer’ to sign 26-year-old – €8m seen as nowhere near enough (ndombele)

sports witness

according to Turkish journalist Ertan Süzgün, who took to Twitter to state the Süper Lig winners have taken further steps to sign the Tottenham player.

He claims Galatasaray have made an ‘official offer’ of €8m for the Frenchman and want to pay this fee in four instalments. However, Ange Postecoglou’s side have ‘not accepted’ this proposal.

I think they have still got the hump over Mike England. They have got longer memories than us.

On the other hand they seem.to have forgotten we gave them £17mn for David Bentley.

£17 fucking million.

Worth it

It's gonna be a long window with respect to outgoings.

Never get tired of watching that.

I couldn't go because my old man was in hospital after having a heart attack. Obviously I kept one eye on proceedings. Priorities.

Tapsoba deal done €45m plus bonuses.

That’s just one suitor, who is not a traditional top team and now owned by an ethically questionable country. Plenty of reasons to choose spurs over them.

Fuck that. Play him. Who knows what opportunities other teams will give him. If it was to be a starter at a PL team, different story. Wouldn't mind him going to Burnley, for example. But fuck Ligue 1. Kid is good enough for the PL already.
I don't disagree (lad was looking like a Viera regen yesterday at times) but if Ange really thinks he'd be down the pecking order and given we have zero European competition to give him a run out, I can see some sense in a loan.

But I'd much rather he get minutes with us and, vitally, PL experience.

If you don't think the ownership of the club employ a public relations company to influence the fans across all forms of digital social media to then you are naive or stupid.
And less of the condescension George.
It doesn't suit you.
Of course the club employs PR, I’ve stated before that I had a friend who worked for Tottenham and marketing (particularly e-marketing) was his remit.
What they don’t do is employ someone to monitor a Spurs website with a couple of hundred active users and get into cunt-offs supporting Levy against a cabal led by a congenital liar named for a penis who call him bald. That one belongs in the Conspiracy Theories thread.

Levy doesn’t need to employ PR here. The criticism is so exaggerated and the language so venomous against dissent that reasonable supporters are put off by the proselytizing.
