It's a bit ridiculous that Chelsea and Liverpool are freely shoveling their deadwood into Saudi Arabia, which is involved in a humaniatrian crisis in Yemen, but Russia is a line too far.

Also: Newcastle & City ownerships and previously Russian & Greek gangters deemed fit and proper ownership.

Personally; I wasn't entirely comfortable with the CSKA deal, but the EPL 'discouragement' and the outcry from certain sections of the media is a complete and utter piss-take.

Tottenham Hotspur want Edmond Tapsoba but Bayer Leverkusen have no plans to let him leave the club this summer.

Bayer Leverkusen’s Simon Rolfes has dented Tottenham Hotspur’s hopes of signing defender Edmond Tapsoba this summer.

Tapsoba
They had no problem letting Raya go, why are they so stubborn about Tapsoba? Just get VVD and let's all move on with our lives.

Then get another LCB you are sure about, there can't be one good LCB in the world.

This is where I agree fully.

People come at me and say "Well, which LCB do you think is good enough? "tell me who is good enough that they can get"...

Like it makes any difference what any fans think.

They have needed a LCB since Vertonghen. If they can only come up with one name they really want, then they'd better just have the balls to go and sign that player even if they have to overpay. Just make sure you don't sack the manager and change the style of football straight after....

Not a valid point. On the one hand we're saying this year is going to be up and down and we'll need to be patient, because we're rebuilding and bedding in a totally new system, and on the other we're talking about missing out on CL. Which one is it?
Are you claiming that we didn’t miss UCL football that year ( when we finished 1 point behind Woolwich) after we dropped 4 easy home points in starting Sandro and Jake Livermore as our pivot instead of getting Dembele in earlier?
