He’s a fucking good player though, if it weren’t for the wanking and domestic abuse I’d say this is a perfect signing to replace Kane.

I’d much sooner pay £30m for Wahi than something silly like £80m for Muani.

Of course, I’m not advocating that we sign him given the PR firestorm.

But I will say this: the singular biggest “alpha” or edge you can get in the transfer market across all sports is signing troubled but talented players with off the field issues for cheaper fees, ones that have top club ability but won’t be signed by top clubs.

Given how cheap and underpowered we are financially, guys like Wahi might be our best chance of building a team that can actually compete for titles. Harsh reality but true.
