Pay Me The Simpsons GIF

I get the feeling we want the player to throw his toys out and start agitating for the move. Good on Edmund for saying very little.

He took his eye off the ball but ENIC/Levy delivered a truly dreadful January window which failed to capitalize on the momentum we had at the time.

More than one party at fault.

And the FA. They could've nipped the speculation in the bud a lot earlier but declaring that Woy was their first choice, but no, let all the attention be on Harry at Spurs and fuck up our season.

Our form definitely improved once it was known he was staying but only enough for 4th.

Sure, he should take some of the blame but I'd also blame some of the players for all but downing tools, as if it no longer mattered as a new manager would be coming in.

It was a really shit end to a season that held real promise, in Jan we were in the title hunt.

And yet you like George Graham, a Gooner legend.

Hmm.

I was never an 'Arry lover BUT he turned us around in a really short time and had us playing some really good football. He also managed to get us into the CL, should've been twice if Bayern hadn't bottled it in 2012. Cunts.
You’re meant to divinate that by him advertising that wankers name all over a spurs board that he , doesn’t hate , doesn’t like him but thinks he got harshly treated by the spurs board at the time! You ever known such convoluted nonsense and lack of awareness

I liked Harry. But the skirt hitching for the England job was nauseating

That team played some of the best football I’ve seen at spurs and I think it seriously underachieved. Dragging in 4th. That team was good enough to challenge

And imagine if he didn’t knock Suarez back. Of the the signings we never made that for me might be the biggest blunder. Bmj was practically giving him to us on a plate

Anyhow ……

He is 100% guilty. Whether they can make it stick is another matter

I say this because at that level. These traders don’t gamble. They pay well and cultivate all the right relationships to get the all important data before they place their ‘bets’

What pisses me off is …. He can’t use any of that sneaky trading to boost our coffers ? No just friends and family!!! How contemptuous is he towards this club !!
You want him to have the club involved in insider trading?

That's a new one.

Look at the 16 players he used, some world class talents and some absolute shitters. Only needed a few tweaks to challenge

Exactly, you can find a clip of any defender being shit if you really want to
If you wanted to you could make a pretty long compilation of Romero looking worse from last season, and he's our best defender.

Statistically, VDV is in the 86th percentile for tackling dribblers, which would suggest that he's good at defending one-on-one situations in general.

Honestly Tapsoba and Tosin in

Out - Lloris, Reguilon, Tanganga, Rodon, Sanchez. Ndombele,

Loan Spence gil Devine and Sess

Close the window.

Don’t even think I’m asking too much..

***Kane sold - balls deep for Muani or Ramos

What the fuck is he doing here then.

You cannot possibly blame that on the 'system'. He looks like an absolute clown in this. This is a trend of his. He stands off the ball and lets dribblers into space, that is his style, his MO.

Seriously. How can you watch something like this and think 'oh, no big deal, he has a good profile on paper'. Spending 30m on this and expecting THIS to transform our defense?

Yes he is prone to this. Talk to dutch football people and they consistently say that he sucks at making quick decisive actions. He stands off everything and uses his pace to recover. You know the only players who I've ever seen do that successfully? Peak Kyle Walker (who I shouldn't even need to explain why he's a 1 of 1 anomaly) and Virgil Van Dijk. VdV actually has a similar 'style' to VVD but you know why that's a bad thing? Because for Van Dijk's style to work he had to be the best-timed and most explosive/decisive tackler in Europe. He had to be absolutely perfect on timing. Add to that that he's about 3 times as agile as Van de Ven and legitimately the best aerial defender of the past decade, which is a glaring weakness of Van de Ven's, and I think you'll see where my concern stems from.

My take on this video is sign the Georgian lad :nunothumb:

But seriously, that VdV defending or lack of is something Dier would be proud of :dierno:
