Signing Maddison early was fine ... we just should have got our CB business done by now as well. We're currently acting like a club who has to base the rest of their business on the sale of Kane, which is worrying.
We are missing out on CB targets anyway.
But in theory, I agree.
If the choice is getting Maddison + signing a CB late after selling players, vs getting a CB early and no Maddison, I'm going with the first option every time.
If all that is true, then that's not the clubs fault it's taken this long - Blackburn taking the piss and getting burnt.

It's beside the point. What I said was, after spending the bag on Maddison, I called BS on Tapsoba coming in after that. Tapsoba didn't come in. This is the way the club operates and plenty of people still buy into it every summer.
