If they both do at the same time, then yeah. But we can't be 3-4 deep in each position just in case something like this happens. No team is. And with 1 game a week, it won't be much of a burden for one of the two to have to play every game until the other recovers.
But if one of them does get injured we won't have a CF substitute on the bench. I'd rather we kept Alejo Veliz, give him game time from the bench, Son will most likely be playing on the left, and we don't know yet what's happening with Perisic.

I don't know why you're arguing it at all when you're so wrong.

With several reports in Argentina claiming Tottenham Hotspur are about to sign Alejo Veliz from Rosario Central, there’s no doubt the clubs are close to an agreement.

However, as TyC Sports now features an update on the chase, they reveal that there’s still a major issue stopping the transfer.

The outlet starts by confirming that Tottenham and Rosario Central are ‘about to close’ the deal, as the player has ‘everything agreed’ for the move.
The problem is that the Argentine club don’t want to lose the player in the summer, and now look for a way to keep him at least until December.

What plays in their favour is that the player is still working to get his European passport, and that should only get done by the end of the year.

Rosario Central are also still discussing with Tottenham some other details, such as the percentage of a next transfer.

The calendar difference between South America in Europe is often an issue discussed by clubs, so this is not the first time a setback like this happens.

Usually, money has the last say about it, and Spurs are expected to spend over €15m on the signing.

Have we ever signed a player for over 25M that’s been any good?

Ndombele !

Sadly its a short list with probably Romeros and Bissouma the most recent star attractions. But go back in time and Modric (£20m) probably the real star.

I'm hopeful Maddison will be added to that short list ...... whilst hopeful we can sell some of those others who are on that list such as Ndombele!
