Some fans will never be happy. If this is what Kane wants, it’s a good chunk of money. I’m not of the mind we need to go spend it all immediately either. We have a big squad, a new coach, and are rebuilding our style of play. It won’t happen overnight. Our coach likes working with young players. I’d rather spend the money on another CB than blow 70 on a striker who won’t be nearly as good. Our new way of playing ideally shouldn’t be as reliant on a top tier ST as we were under Conte and Mourinho. That said, sad to see him go.

He has a chance for immortality in England with breaking the Shearer. It’s not insane to think he could challenge the Greaves division 1 record if he stays healthy and fit until 36 or 37. Unlikely, but not impossible. Carragher made the point that people talk far more about Shearer’s record than his PL medal.

I can’t think of trophies that will mean less than winning German league trophies with Bayern, they walk it every year. No one is going to give Kane any credit for those. So to get the credit and achievement he wants, they’ll have to win the Champions League, but this Bayern team is one of the worst in recent memory, got super lucky to win the Bundesliga last year.

He’d get far more plaudits for winning an FA or League Cup with us than 5 Bundesligas with Bayern.

It would be nice if he were to go the Totti route, but with the media constantly hounding him about not winning a trophy I wonder if he will want to shut them up.
 
I think in all this we must also consider if Postecoglou has said sell him or demand he stays as it's a fcukimg distraction (create your own lingo).

This horse sh!t would have continued all season, so if Kane steadfastly wasn't going to commit long term, take the money and let me get on with my work.

Again, he has zero inside info and he's not saying he knows, but the feeling is he's staying, he's quite adamant about it. The source for this story is "in Germany". Could be true, could be he is staying and this is some saving face from Bayern, which might look like Bayern had an offer accepted and Kane said no. No one knows other than a tiny handful of people.

Also, there is a lag here - there absolutely was a feeling he was staying coming out of the club yesterday. Maybe that's just a spin deliberately put out to nudge Kane if it was needed. Maybe yesterday it was all tied up and he's off, or yesterday he said no. Or maybe it was just a coincidence.

But just like before, we will know ahead of the weekend.

He has to train with the likes of Mullerand Kimmich every day. Also their chairman is the most Kraut looking bastard I've ever seen. He has to move from London to Germany.

All that to win the german farmes league aka Bundesliga. When he'll eventually return is he going to say: I'm so proud of myself I've won the fecking Bundesliga how you like me now?
