Could be, but you’ve only got to look at the hard ball Levy has played in the past with both Manchester clubs to realise that he won’t be bent over backwards if he feels the club have been wronged.

Exactly. Obviously if he's leaving next year, I'd wish he'd go now to Germany and we'd get the money to do some reinvestment.

But much like a couple years back when we told City to fuck off because he was under contract with no release clause, he's still under contract and can just stay with us if he wants. It goes both ways. Let's go out in a blaze of glory with him playing attacking football this season and see where we land.

In a way. What you say is true. But easy to forget we did hit 4th and make Champions League last summer and were in the knock out stages just 4 months back. Not sure we would have been without Kane. But in summer 2021 it was shit, as it is in summer 23 really.
 
I’m guessing there is the possibility that Harry was all up for the transfer and Kate has had the last minute wobble (having previously tried to be supportive with the move).

You could quite see this happening once the reality of the accepted bid bites.

To be honest.......none of the clubs that would like him for free next season are going to sit there and watch him swan off to Bayern without a quick WhatsApp to Charlie telling him what they'd offer Kane next season if he left on a free.

Zero chance that a multitude of clubs haven't been in contact making offers for next season.
 
I don't know how to feel if he turns this down, given the news of the 'tapping up' for next summer. I mean I'll be glad to see him play football for us but it seems very unlikely that he'll stay.
