I'm not surprised at all about our forwards being poor. They look exactly like last season, their form wasn't down to Conte or anything else. Son has always been limited in many ways, his best attributes made him ideal for a counter attacking team, but in this system he seems unable to do anything, and I'm afraid he is in serious decline anyway. Richarlison is not a proper number 9, I'm not sure what his best attributes are, but I think he needs to be playing in wide position. Kulu looks slow and unable to go past anyone, he just holds on to the ball and passes it sideways or backwards. Not sure if that's his best position either.

Long story short, I don't think this forward line is the answer at all.

Yeah I am still hoping sons was an off season but it does feel like the decline. Kulu looks like he had been sussed out. & richy not thriving. I think this season should be make or break for all 3 really.

Whenever we get into space, someone has to slow it down. Skipp on my opinion needs to move to create space. Emerson should stay on the wing alongside udogie to create the width.

We look terribly shaky whenever Brentford hits us on the break. Bissouma hasn't been anything we saw from barca game, for the good he did, he gives the ball too easily away.


If ange brave, he will take off son and skipp and introduce celso and soloman.

Don’t know what game you are watching. Biss has been immense
 
Kulu and Madd are causing problems for Brentford. Rich getting into good positions.
Son not his best but still got into 2 good goalscoring positions.
Enjoyable stuff.

Bissouma is running the game, but all our midfielders, including him have got the bust their bollocks when Brentford break, we’ve left the cb’s totally exposed at times.

Son and Kulusevski offering very little in their wide remits, as a result things are very squeezed into the centre.

I repeat, we desperately need some quality attacking options - including another 8 who can create/see incisive passes.

I agree. Skipp is not an 8. I would bring in GLC.

Could we play two up top? Son and Rich. Take out Kulu. Put in GLC. Take out Skipp. Put in Sarr.
