Match Brentford fc vs TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR/ Sun 13th 14:00

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

With Richie, it wasn’t even his lack of threat in the box. He was bullied all over the park. Looked so nervous. Where’s the tenacious, aggressive Brazilian shithouse gone?

Bissouma excellent and Maddison very good. Front 3 quite disappointing and of course the defence all over the place at times.

A work in progress that's for sure.

Thought rich worked like fuck. Service wasnt great. Second half we dominated but couldnt break them down
Agree to an extent, but that's pretty much it. He's just way too hot and cold. His effort today was solid, but his performance was well below par and uninspiring.

He's too slow minded on the ball, lacks ideas and quality when 1v1 to beat his man and just doesn't seem to have the turn of speed necessary find a teeny bit of space to take a shot. So he ends up just very often playing a short pass back to a player with his back on goal when he's just outside the box.

I thought vdv was really good. Thrown in after 6 days. Him and destiny were really good
And Sanchez, considering they probably haven’t even played as a pair (no doubt VDV went straight in with Romero given todays starting 11).

No slips, dealt well with Vicarios obvious nerves, thought VDV went too wide but noticed Sanchez looked right on point (in where to be, when, within the structure).

Great signs, probably not for Dier, mind.

Timid performance. Last 20 both teams looked content with the draw.

Udogie & Maddison encouraging early signs. Van de Ven grew into the game. Front 3 looked the same from last season.

Happy we tried to play on the front foot. A lot to work on. Tough game next week.

After the week we've had, I'll take that.

Richie was probably the only genuine concern.... everyone else seems to be buying into, and adapting to the new style of play.

I'd take that first half over ANYTHING Jose or Conte provided in the past few years... how the FUCK have they been so successful?

Once he's back, Bentancur and Bissouma could well be our Vieira/Petit... there, I said it!

Overall, I can see what Poste is trying to instill... Considering his teams are notoriously slow starters, today was more promising than I'd thought.
