Dav, Perisic, GLC........ Dier looks out now whereas at first he wasn't.

(Perhaps re-read what you just quoted...... You seem to have glossed over the bulk of it.)

Yeh..... Funnily enough; I'm glad as fuck he'll pay NO attention to the wannabe managers and DOFs in the fanbase.
Not having Perisic at all. 8 assists for us last season. Our best crosser ans can actually beat a man. Always great for Croatia. Absolute stretch to put him in the dross crew.

GLC was never dross. Just injury prone and a bit weird. Plenty of fans wanted him to get a shot in the new systemn

Dav is the only one who 99% of Spurs fan would have wanted sold but who seemingly has turned it around.

Dier? You're confused. No Spurs fans rate him except that one prat on here.

Oh sure its just coincidence then that all the players on the Spurs fan's shit list happen to also be on the transfer list.

:ange-bored2:

I know you think this is a salient, dare I say even smart, point you're trying to drill in here.... But it really isn't.

It's facile..... Ange wanted to scrutinise the squad up close over the pre-season. He got what he wanted in that respect. End of.

GLC, Perišić, Sanchez were on the shit list, but look like they have a future with us. Sess and Gil injured, so jury is still out.

The thing is that, even if one player turned out to be a good fit, it would be worth the time the manager takes to evaluate the squad.

But sure, you go ahead thinking you know better with a fraction of the information the manager has.

Is that Purely on a "how much we spend" basis or the Quality of players? As look at some of our latest signings - Maddison, Van de Wen, Bissouma, Bentacaur , Udogie they may not have cost the most but thats some quality signings right there.
The problem with us for me has always been identifying proper targets as we spend the money its just we seemed to spend it on shit!
I don't think he's worth 45m. I don't think he improves us.

I want us to sign players that improve the first team.

No disrespect, but in the context of what was being talked about I couldn't give a toss about your feelings on the players.... We were talking about Ange and how he wanted to conduct a squad review.

You're confused.... I made no mention of how much fans did or didn't rated him

Go back... Read properly; cos you're massively off piste here.

It’s also completely ignores the prior five years where we spent less than Reading and Hull which created the need for major investment from a position of panic
Not me either by all accounts he was very keen to come back but we didn’t want him for whatever reason
We had some great times, some amazing times but I do believe that you should generally never go back. But now he’s gone to them I certainly won’t be polite!

I don’t know who he is, just came across my feed.

But not sure why anyone is pretending I’m asking for 100m to be spent on one player.
I’ve said many times I want Tapsoba, Kudus, Orban which will have combined spend of >£100m.

No-one's "pretending" anything; but you seem oblivious to the connotations of the tweet you posted and what your re-post suggests of your opinon.

..............Not a million miles away from when you quote me and use it is a platform to say something else.

Hardly a cardinal sin; but no-one's to know that you're on your own tangent, mate.

TBF, they had chances because we ere pushed right up in their half
It would be interested to see what kinds of chances we make against United who won't sit deep with 11 men behind the ball

It will be the same against all opposition, play a high line and look to press them leaves us open to the counter attack. We can mitigate this in the long run by having a strong defence and strength/athletic ability in central midfield.

I fear Utd won’t be as wasteful as Brentford were. Whereas we need to be a lot more clinical with our chances.
