I have been going to white hart lane for 40 odd years. I have seen some magnificent man u sides and some poor sides. I have always been impressed with the favour of thier support. Frankly man u away supporr was the bench mark. Loudest,most sarcastic and always non stop. I remember the man u fans getting behind thier side after Beckham got sent off for the world cup by singing argentina. Fuck you England if yore gonna hang our man to dry well chant for argentina. It sent the lane wild.

Yet today they were lambs. I have never seen the manu away end so quiet.its almost like they realise they have no more heroes to shout for. Is man u the concept, the idea , the dream dying?
 
During the Ferguson era it was easy to support Man. United with some great teams, absolute iconic footballers and a lot of success, but many United fans now seem tired of the fact that they aren't really challenging anymore. Plus the football has overall been pretty dull for the last decade or so.

It's a pretty bad time to be a United fan compared to for instance 15 or 25 years ago.

Probably worn down by a combination of the Glazers who are perhaps the worst owners in the top flight (at least tied with Everton) combined with City and Liverpool their rivals ripping them to pieces in recent years

They where all ready for the Glazers to sell and fuck off then it now appears the Glazers want to stay. As a club they have been humbled and degraded, once you take enough kicks in the balls eventually it wares you down.

I would imagine a lot of the hardcore don’t even go anymore due to the Glazers.
