Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Seriously? So you don't think the manager and style of football has anything to with it then? I honestly wonder sometimes whether some people in here know the first thing about football... :/
Both those Managers had us winning the Golden Boot at some point. We even had the 1 and 3 Rd highest goalscorers in the league, in the same team as one stage.

This only leaves one reason why we didn't challenge for anything. That was our defence. Those Managers won with everyone else but us. Do you really believe they couldn't have challenged given the defence we had playing today? Udogie, Romero, VdV and Porro owned the game. Almost everytime we were attacked they dispossessed the opponents and let the ball work for us from the back by beating a player or two and opening the game for the midfield.

Its not rocket science.

Felt like we never really got out of 1st gear.

Maddison was immense. Really stepped up which was much needed as Bissouma/Sarr weren’t at their best in the mid.

Romero and VDV phenomenal.

Really poor from Richarlison. Time to start Som up top. Kulu may have Bought himself more time with the goal.

Good away performance when I don’t think we were at our best
Wild idea. Kulu demonstrated more than once his holding up play was actually quite good. Play him in the middle and start Perisic in place of Richy.

8 min of stoppage and only 1 seemed to be in Spurs 1/2. Considering Bournemouth were given license to foul without repercussions this is an excellent result.
I feel like we could have scored at will in those final 15 mins, but chose to see out the clock by resting on the ball.

Bournemouth was wide open, and ran out of legs.

Richys confidence was on the floor after he dwelled on ball when we were in a great transition and fell over the ball shortly after. He really needs a goal. He did have a couple of decent moments.

Sorry, but Sanchez has put in some great performances lately.

Man deserves a medal after the shit some c**ty fans gave him last year.
He defended well. But did he do what VdV and Romero were able to do going forward?

Sorry but he just doesn't cut it. Not even good enough for a backup in the EPL.

Romero, VdV and Udogie would have made it playing for City today.

Sanchez just never will.

That was a good away win. Thought Ange made good subs, Bournemouth were very physical in midfield and Semenyo (hope I got his name right) was good for them in the 2nd half.

We need a forward though don't we?

And Maddison is a brilliant signing, such a quality attacking midfielder.

Mourinho or Conte would not be picking 20yr old Udogie and i doubt they would have been keen on a 22 yr old centre back with 1 season at Wolfsburg. Sarr wouldnt be playing either. They liked the grizzled, been there seen it done it type which was completely against the way we operate which made them 2 mind numbingly stupid appointments.
