Ange has really got him knowing his exact role and I think he’s the perfect partner for Romero.
Tbf I always thought his profile was excellent, the size pace and calm on the ball, just wasn’t sure he was seasoned enough. Credit where it’s due though as I was miles off and Van de Ven is a diamond.

It’s why we need one more CB. Even if it’s Tosin cheap, high line we can play with Romero and VDV with Tosin and Sanchez as backups.

The pass accuracy is really impressive, cos I think he played a fair few difficult passes for a CB. Though tbh, having the likes of Udogie, Biss and Maddison in front of you does wonders too.
Imagine trying to have 94% passing accuracy passing to Sissoko, Winks or PEH.
Was worried he’d only played a year of senior football in a top division. Was scared he would be a project.
