I'm just gonna make a quick "miserable cunt" post - we have played some really nice stuff so far, but if we were looking at our games from the perspective of a rival fan, we would say we have been quite fortunate as well. In each game so far teams have missed really good chances at key moments. We won't keep getting away with that.

Even yesterday, in a game we controlled, there was one for Bournemouth that may have changed the game.

But overall, there isn't much to complain about! New recruits look great, Ange has got the team playing better from game to game.
But in those games we have had more chances than the opposition so Brentford lucky to get a draw and Utd and Bournemouth fortunate only to lose 2-0 if you want to look at that way. Every single game we play the opposition will have chances. You can’t go through games without a team having a period of pressure against you whether that’s 2 mins or 60 minutes or whatever. We’ve not conceded lots of goal scoring chances in three games and the ones we have conceded to the opposition they’ve converted one.
It doesn’t get much better than this in terms of giving teams chances. If we keep the ball and dominate teams the way we are then we will concede less chances and goals which ultimately will make us win more games.

They were fortunate we have a striker who can't hit a barn door at the moment and can't complete a 5 yard pass, horses for courses...

Whilst I agree, I have learnt over the years that most games will have an element of good fortune for the victor. And almost every game I have watched both teams will miss good chances. Yesterday, they missed a half decent chance at the end of the first half. That was it apart from a good long shot. We missed a numerous better chances. For premier league football it doesn't really get more dominant than that. That's football at this level.

I’d love to wipe the smirks off the faces of those two self-entitled pricks! Absolutely love it!
Both bellends of the highest order and both supporters of clubs that have bought their success yet seem to think they’ve the right to comment on what other clubs do in terms of being successful…….gormless looking prick admitting he hates us and the other cunt Jennings has made entire vlogs about us in how he hates us.

Yes, the worry is that against the bigger clubs like Woolwich, City and Liverpool - they create good chances at high volume and with much better players than those we've come against so far.

Man Utd did have some good chances. Fernandes header especially, but we pretty much limited them for 50 odd minutes whilst creating plenty for ourselves. Those bigger clubs aren't going to sit back against us so we should get chances.
Yeah against those better sides not having the elite finishers to make the most of opportunities is what will lose games. There are two of those games at the end of September and Spurs doesn’t have those players at the moment, or at least ones in form.

A month is a long time in football.
It is. Richy and Sonny might find their goal scoring touch in that time, but there’s no good reason to wait and hope when Spurs has the resources to bring in a decent striker without any baggage. Or any Spurs baggage. Ange’s teams have often suffered for not having enough goal scoring class against the elite sides. His teams work their bollocks off only to be let down offensively. Levy needs to pull his finger out.

While the verdict is still out on what Ange will ultimately achieve here, one thing us Aussie's/Celtic fans said that's already evident is that he will bring everyone together behind a common purpose and completely change the culture of the club. That he's done it so quickly is impressive.

He did the same at Celtic. I know from the outside people question how bad it could realistically be when Celtic win most years, but the situation he walked into after they'd just blown the 10 in a row campaign was toxic. Yet it only took a few matches before everybody was fully behind him and the team.

That's all true, but also indicative of where the team is in its development. The players are still adapting to the system, and most of them still building relationships on the pitch. As a longtime Angeball enthusiast, I can clearly see elements where it's up and running, but also areas that definitely aren't there yet.

Playing this way is going to result in opportunities for the opposition, it's not something that can ever fully be eliminated, especially at this level of competition. I think once it's in full swing though, you'll see a team who are creating enough good chances of our own to more than offset the chances we're giving up. Against most opposition at least.

The Brentford OG wasn't a significant goal-scoring chance; just bad luck..... On another day they score no goals and we have a 6-0 goal record.

I don’t disagree with your points but we have to consider that we have a new coach, new players (Maddison, Vicario, VDV, *Udogie) and players that had not much game time last season (Bissouma, Sarr, Richarlison) - that’s more than half of our regular starting eleven this season. It will take a bit of time for the players to get used to the system and to playing with each other.

I can think of only one other PL club with similar circumstances (new coach and many new players) - Chelsea, and we are currently doing better than them. A lot of fans have been saying that Chelsea needs time for their players to settle in - I think it should apply to us too.

I think that we have performed much better than what had been expected of us before the season started.
