Some twat yesteday was trying to start a bet with me that we can replace the 30 Kane goals cos our FBs, CMs, will score 5 goals each. Oh yeah, and Richarlison could score 15.

Some people are beyond help.
 
Not fussed about Fati at all. A straight loan is a shit deal, add the huge wages we’d have to pay.

I’m confident Johnson gets done, and that’s who Ange wants.

I’m seeing a lot of people complaining about the window. Everyone’s entitled to their own opinion, but I think we’ve addressed important areas. GK, CB, LB, CAM have all been sorted m.. granted Udogie was last summer.

Johnson and maybe another CB would be great, but I’m happy if we get Johnson.

Yes we sold Kane, but he wanted to go and we’d have just been delaying the inevitable.

Let’s judge it come May.

If you're playing in a 433 then there is a significant difference.

My point all along is that if you (we) pay 70m (possibly more!) for a player you play them in their primary position.

We had Berbatov, Keane and Defoe at the same time. Any of them would walk into this team. Now we dont have a proper centre forward. I just dont understand how anyone can find that acceptable. Top 10 richest clubs in the world and no centre forward and only 2 centre backs before calling on the chuckle brothers.

You aren’t meant to enjoy football when you are an ENIC Hotspur fan.

You are meant to be farmed to build ENICs empire.
 
Wonder if people stopped melting down that they'd realise that Fati loan with no option/obligation was a shit deal for us.

The drop offs are just so severe:

Udogie > Davies
Biss > PEH
Romero > Sanchez
Maddison > Gio

Of course the impact is much worse when you stick all the backups on at the same time but even just a couple will make all the difference.

Midfield is the key thought. Without at least one of Biss or Maddison on the pitch we are a completely different side. Lets hope we avoid that situation.

Makes me laugh that we all ridicule the SC ITK (me included) but people spout this BS about knowing exactly who Ange wants.

There’s legit cause for concern.

You’re a smart poster generally, I don’t think it’s necessary for you to go on the defensive and embarrass yourself like this. The rhetoric is OTT, it always is, but all genuine spurs fans should be a little concerned by our depth in certain areas right now.

Ange looks great, but he’s not a miracle worker. We have to support him with more tools.
