Phrases from the past you no longer hear during Tottenham transfer windows...

"Swoop"
"Chill, Daniel's got this"
"You've been Levied"
"Real statement of intent"
"Pay the release clause"
"Move swiftly to..."
"Major addition to Tottenham's striking options"

Any more?

Joe Lewis has got his mojo back was one pearler doing the rounds when the tortoise faced weasel hosted the players on his yacht. I think that was the odd season when we didn’t sign a player

If Lloyd Kelly is a data-led signing someone needs to call I.T

The squad can't be rebuilt in Ange's vision in just one window. It will take time. I think by next summer Ange will have all the players he needs to move this club forward. The truth is we have to be patient.
I agree with you , however it’s not like we are asking for 5 or 6 more players literally just get someone to play up top and a centre back , that’s it!
2 players after selling Kane for £100 million shouldn’t be to much to ask should it?

...and no team ever in the history of winning anything has ever done that?

(Refers back to history books & stats for Leiectser Fairytale©®™ City 2015/16)

...it's just some continue their good fortune a little longer, and take advantage of a good early start, using it as momentum against other teams who are ALSO conned into believing they are better than they are....
we just plateaued!

For fuck's sake, if you can't see the differences then there is little point having this discussion.

Leicester played a direct style of football and benefited from a lethal striker who had the wheels to get away with it. They also had a legitimate world class DM who very few had heard of as well as a number of excellent yet unheralded players. They caught everybody out and they were very clever about it.

Tottenham, on the other hand had a tired manager with a tired system who was using tired players. We literally stole points early last season but it was unsustainable. Basically if Harry Kane didn't win us games by himself, we didn't win games most of the time. And as good as he is, he couldn't carry us or the rug wearing fraud for 38 matches. Nothing we did early in the season surprised anyone. We got lucky for a couple of months and then our luck ran out.

Unlike us, Leicester weren't lucky,. They just happened to be very good.

Leicester were definitely lucky, they won the league with the lowest point total of the last 10 years or something. If there was one other top club in good shape they would not have won it.

Yes he violated betting rules and got punished for it - as a player his performances never dropped though so you can't insinuate that he was throwing games
The way he has treated Brentford is disgraceful, he is pimping himself to a bigger club and fucking over the club and fans that he is meant to play for.
Also it’s obvious he is a selfish cunt , he bet on himself to be first goal scorer which to me is wrong, what happens if it’s 0-0 with 5 minutes left he can either square it to his team mate for an easy goal and a 1-0 win or does he try and score himself to win a bet?
I don’t want him anywhere near our dressing room , he belongs at the Chavs or the Goons
