You improve the squad by signing first team quality players that displace the starting 11 players to the bench. You don't sign back up players lol. Signing someone no better than Sanchez isn't the one.

The only thing that gives me the slightest bit of hope is that our scouting has seemingly improved, and are targeting players that seem to fit our system more. Don’t think Kelly would set the league on fire, but maybe the data shows that he’d be a useful addition.

Johnson, Gallagher and a CB who can play high line and it’s an ok window considering we lost Kane. Anything less and I think we are selling ourselves short particularly regarding the CB situation.
I can understand selling Kane when he has only 1 year left but that comes at a price and the price is you have to improve the overall squad to compensate. Today is the day for the club to show it wants to compete and back the manager.
