A very generous 6/10 because of Madders. That deal may come back to haunt as it’s what Levy is hiding behind. Great businessman my arse. Can’t sell. Can only buy a few lucky signings. Can’t basically do business. Most expensive club tickets in world football, ridiculous turnover in terms of income, £100m for our best player and pretty much nothing back of note. ENIC are taking us for a ride. Brighton, now that’s a well run club with a genuinely innovative business leader. Levy is just a shit Skeletor. Pitchforks at the ready next home game please. *

*very much hoping this post comes back to bite me on 2 hours’ time.

Staggered by the Stockholm syndrome in here.

Fucked in the ass again by Levy and co and still people jumping to defend them.

They literally left it to the last day of the window to "try" and get Kelly over the line. I mean let that fucking sink in for a minute.

The whole window and a wide world of available players and they come up with Johnson, Gallagher and fucking Kelly. And that's assuming we even get those three over the line in this last day. Otherwise we are going to wind up having spent zero net money.

Ok, so they might not the absolute worst owners in the league, Everton etc but they can't be far off.

I just can't even......
Exactly what happened to anges knowledge of the Asian markets. We have not been after anyone from Asia.

It's not steep at all. BUT at 22 he hasn't yet set the world on fire, 22 is not young for a footballer.

It's high risk, same as Gill @ £30m who failed to impress so far.

BTW it's £45m plus addons.

Fit what bill? Which issue can he solve? He ain't a striker, he isn't Kane replacement. Where does he fit?
CHO forest have got him for £5M!

Levy literally has zero ambition to push on. Sold Kane for 100 mill and just pocketed the money. Fucking sell up. He’s literally in it for participation award. Fucking tired of this club sometimes

If you have a manager who believes strongly that his system can produce results as long as he has competent players, that manager may not want creative or exceptional players on his squad. I think Postecoglou was a bad choice as manager, but he deserves the chance to create the squad he wants around players he believes are suited to his system. I sure would have liked to have seen Ansu Fati play for Spurs, though.
Think he fancied playing for Brighton and de zirbi more than Ange and spurs. Rather telling of where we are.

Same shit, different window.

I think what I hate the most is not the prices etc, that's influenced by the market rate and Levy hasn't caught up with the real world on that especially with selling players.

I think what frustrates me the most is the poor planning every window, the last gasp nature of doing deals on deadline day because Levy thinks he'll get a bargain.

Now I didn't expect anything else from this window. The CB situation is exactly what I thought would happen once we signed VDV and Phillips. The sounds at the start of the window was 2 CBs in and that's what we got.

If you are reflecting on that window and thinking it was underwhelming then I hate do break it to you but you're the deluded one in all this. A leopard doesn't change its spots.

Another opportunity passed Levy by here, he could have doubled down on a good start under Postecoglou, with solid football. Not a fluke start like Nuno. There's real signs of progress here. Ange needed to be backed this last week and he hasn't really been.

I don't think it's right to rate a window so soon. Let's rate it at the end of the season.

I'm delighted about getting Maddison, been wanting him for 3 years. Finally got a creative link man at AM.

VDV looks promising and I actually have high hopes for Veliz. High enough that I think we should throw him in at the deep end and have him as a bench option to come on in the first part of the season. I know Ange said the opposite, but he can't be any worse Richy. He plays the CF role better than Richy that's for sure.

Regardless we have a game tomorrow to prepare for. Need the right attitude and application otherwise Burnley will slap us back down the M1 with a defeat.

My mate, who stands outside Hotspur Way all day, begging for shirts, just got invited inside, to N'Dombele's 'End of Transfer Window Party' - and he's sent me a short video...
