That’s fucking criminal. Hugo, Dier, Sanchez, PEH, Belly, GLC all bowling around the training ground on massive wages and just, training! All on Levy of course…

It‘s not Levy’s fault Hugo seems to have turned down a couple of moves. Dier wants to run down his contract and play overseas. PEH supposedly turned down Fulham. Tanguy had a couple options but is apparently holding out for a CL side, and nobody wants a perpetually broken GLC. Davisson might have been the only one where it looks like maybe we were holding out for a higher fee…maybe.

I can’t blame him too much for a bunch a delusional players willing to just collect a paycheck.

Levy’s biggest mistake wasn’t this window, rather it was the previous 4-5 where he let these problems accumulate. Plain and simple mismanagement of the team. Now I think they truly want to offload but nobody is interested, and he’s afraid of coming across as desperate.

The slow & terminal demise of Tottenham Hotspur FOOTBALL CLUB continues.

Still ENIC go from strength to strength. £100m in the bank for the hotel 👍

They've both been great professionals for us and I think should not really be subject to the squad rules as they see it out their time. We will release Lloris and put Dier back in the team the next time there is an injury.
Lloris yes, Dier no.

I don't trust that fucker one bit, too many cynical moves that make me suspicious. It finally took Ange to properly put him in his place.

He's not good enough anyway.

We are delighted to announce the signing of Brennan Johnson from Nottingham Forest.
The Wales international forward has agreed a deal with the Club that will run until 2029. He will wear the number 22 shirt.

Brennan Johnson has signed a contract with the Club which will run until 2029
Born in Nottingham, Brennan, 22, joined Forest's academy at the age of eight and progressed through the ranks to make his debut against West Brom in the Championship in August, 2019.
He spent a successful loan spell at Lincoln City in 2020/21, where his 13 goals helped the Imps reach the League One Play-Off Final - while his form also earned him a first senior cap for Wales, coming against the USA in November, 2020.
Back at the City Ground, Brennan starred as Forest gained promotion from the Championship into the Premier League in 2021/22. He scored 19 goals in all competitions, including 16 in the league and was on target in both legs of the semi-finals against Sheffield United as Forest returned to the top flight via the play-offs. His performances were recognised by the EFL - he was EFL Young Player of the Month in September, Championship Player of the Month for April and the Championship's Young Player of the Season.
Brennan was ever-present in his first season in the Premier League, contributing eight goals in 38 appearances and another two as Forest reached the semi-finals of the Carabao Cup.
Capped across all youth levels by Wales, Brennan already has 20 senior caps to his name and was part of Rob Page's squad for the World Cup last year.

Aka signing your no 1 priority target on deadline day...

Given how the day could have ended with a Sanchez departure and no incoming, we’ve hopefully dodged a bullet in that sense.

Fingers crossed a squad place isn’t wasted on Dier and he’s shown the door.

Having Davies as the LCB cover isn’t ideal but we’ve got both VDV (cb/lb), Udogie and may be Sessegnon who can provide pace on the left hand side should Davies ever need to play CB.

Likewise on the right, both Porro and Emerson have decent pace to help protect Sanchez.

In an emergency Emerson can fill in at CB.

We probably won't agree about who are the "fucks" but I am absolutely gobsmacked that at least 4 other deals were not made today.

don’t really think Hugo is a fuck. Appreciate all he’s done.

But to publicly state he wanted a new challenge or something different months ago and then to still be here is no one’s fault but his own.

This window was painful for many reasons but the delusion some of these deadwood players have is the most noticeable thing.

ZERO self awareness. Luckily a few will leave on a free after this season and we’ll never have to talk about them again

Yeah, not good at all. The loss of Kane tips the balance from a decent ish window to a poor one. I thought after selling him they might make a statement but its just about keeping things ticking over, there is no real will to improve and challenge. If their attitude didnt change this window after the stick he got last year, yet another new manager and selling one of your best ever players then its safe to say it never will.
