PGMOL saying they fucked it. Should have been a goal.
So should this;

.... and yet I don't remember the global furore, fuss and demands for a rule change (and no doubt a minutes' silence) afterwards...

In fact, I distinctly remember us being told to shut up and get on with it... 'cos these things happen in football!

..I know it was against Utd, but fuck it, the point still stands!

They only started debating on goal line technology after Frank Lampard's England 'goal' in the WC v Germany...

There was certainly no call or outcry after the Mendes GOAL!

Until that wrong is righted, we'll always have that ace up our sleeve!

Game won. May have been different 11 against 11. Liverpool, as memtioned in the thread are frighteningly attack-minded.

Two hard games navigated. Now Luton. Too easy to say too easy, so I hope we are even more focused.

Richarlison, who needs replacing will score in the Luton match if he plays.

We didn't play well apart from patches. They looked the more dangerous and created the better chances with 10 men which was worrying. Don't know why that is hard to accept.

We got the job done however which was the main positive. We definitely need attacking reinforcements from the bench as we can't be replacing Maddison and Son with the likes of Hojbjerg or Skipp.
We didnt play well against 9 because they camped at the edge of box and our 2 main attackers were gone off. Believe it or not its hard adjust to to that and we had to do it twice. Its not something you practice for too often

Whats with Gary Neville turning into a Liverpool fan? Last week he wanted Udogie off the field, Saka was supposedly destroying him, still gave him no credit. Today no red for Jones, appalled by the decision, could also be heard groaning and saying oh no as we broke up the field after a Pool attack near the end. You could have understand that type of crap from a former pool player, but from the supposed mortal enemy in a former Utd player is baffling. Mind you with some of the shite he talks you can see how he lasted so little time in management, his commentary is atrocious at times.
That oh no really pissed me off

I wish Kulu would just go all the way to the line closer to goal post instead of cutting inside before reaching the Box. Since he doesnt shoot much on the right flank.....

He doesn't want to but he will realise its needed at times. Will help kulu as well.

there was 0ne with Son's shoulder just before the defender's leg..(last season or 2 seasons ago)

THEY MAke a meal of it themselves -the PGM0L.
Just draw the line frm the foot/knee - forget about the vertical line drop from the shoulder or Torso or chest. I have draw that missing line using adobe - Luis was in line with our last man. So the offside is 50-50.

off side lines

You could just cut all the BS and just say it's based on feet only..... As long as it's the same for everyone who gives a fuck.

After a beautiful night's sleep a few things stand out today

- I was wondering how long it would take some of the media to turn against us. Criticism of our celebrations are ridiculous - we've beaten them once in 23 games !! If you want to see classless celebrations , look at Klopp during the 4-3 game last year.

- While we maybe should have done a little more to break them down there is a massive difference playing against 9 men when they don't need to score , they basically camped in there box. If we had scored earlier we would have won by 3 or 4.

- We also seem to be made to have to sympathise with Liverpools ridiculous ill discipline. They kicked sh1t out of us for most of the game

- Allison made 2 world class saves that kept them in it

- FFS , we have pretty much a brand new team and Neville and Sky seem to think it's easy to just turn over one the best teams in the Prem.

- Off side decision is awful....but people are missing the most important thing..... Its also really funny :-)
I had a whiny little dipper whinging about our celebrations. I sent him a dozen clips of klopp celebrating meaningless wins. Still waiting on a reply

Something something these things even out.

After many decisions going against us against thes fuckers about time something did. Even if it was a huge mistake.

And last thing I'll say out Jones' red card - fucker should have been on a yellow already, so if the dippers think it was accidental and only warranting a yellow, he'd have been off anyway had the red not shown THEM leniency already therefore moot. And it was worth of a fucking red anyway.

Just shut your whining yap, you pathetic victim playing scumbags.

It's a well known fact that victim FC have had more VAR decisions go their way and have benefited more than everyone else put together.
One decision goes against them and all hell breaks loose.
They are demanding that the game gets replayed or points awarded to them.
Never have I seen so much crying over one decision.
What's to say we wouldn't have changed our game and gone on to win comfortably?
This all makes the victory so much sweeter.

Suck it up ya bin dipping, hub cap stealing shithouses.

Measured, fair, balanced, moderate. I agree.

That is what you call nicking a win! Delighted with that result!

Performance wasn't good though, thought Klopp was better than Ange today, but he is probably the best coach in the league. Liverpool defenders were good but we made it a bit easy for them.

An off day, but it's a great win. With that sort of luck...could we do a Leicester?
Klopp has way more depth at his disposal

A great way to win against that shower, still doesnt make a dint for the penno in CL final. Liverpool get plenty going their way, but the offside is just typical of the standard of refereeing this year, both on the pitch and in stockley park.
Thought the Jones red was a red, his studs were high, accidently or not, it was a potential leg breaker. Jota similarly was plain stupidity, two yellows, no disputing either.
We were insipid attacking at times, yet the first time we fired a ball from the byline across the box it leads to a goal. Why did Son come off? It was very early on, possibly carrying an injury? We definitely need more options to break down teams, but Johnson and Bents coming back will be great.

I thought he’d broken bissouma’s leg. It was a diabolical challenge and nothing else but a red.

I wonder how many petitions those pricks have set up to get the game played again 😂

Unfortunately I think this means things will be evened up against us in future games, we will see some big decisions go against (I expect there will be at least one decision in the reverse fixture at anfield).

Maybe some of the faux rage of the pundits and experts should go against the ludicrous idea of moving games to Sunday evenings for TV purposes because we still live in the 1820s, where the loons think we should all be geniflecting in church giving thanks for the crumbs we receive. I guess the green credentials are out of the window then as most would have to drive.
