But the whole fluency of the team is different mate. He has to play. He’s integral to it all
Would like to see Kulu rested (for Johnson) he's starting to look a bit one dimensional, and would also like to see the Veliz lad start as a CF and see what he's made of.
Friday is a much harder game
I think the only change will be Biss for PEH. Johnson never done anywhere near enough last night to merit starting on Friday. This is the PL.
Kulusevski won't be rested for Johnson. More likely for Richarlison.
Veliz is being given game time, partly out of necessity. If he is good enough his time will come.
We need to win games and not take our foot off the pedal.
Johnson will be chomping at the bit, as will Bussouma
Going to be a desperate night for me...Will be at the game with my late wifes cousin in corporate in the sainsbury end ..
My wife passed in April, she was originally from Purley and all here family are palace fans.
Going to miss the eeeeeeegullls shouts and banter from here.
Love ya darling.
he's definitely one of our best players, but he is also inclined to pick up cards, and I'd rather have him on the pitch against the chavs than PalaceBut the whole fluency of the team is different mate. He has to play. He’s integral to it all
Play both imo and bring on Sarr for Biss with 20min to go..Is it worth sticking with PEH for this one so that Bissouma is definitley available for Chelsea in a fortnight?
I thought PEH had a decent game last night and can do a job vs. Palace but Chelsea we will need to dominate the MF and bring Biss back in, it's Chelsea's cup final after all, they won't give us the same reach around they gave the gooners.
Last night was the first time I saw Ange annoyed with Richy when he tried to control the ball with his back to be clever and gave it away needlessly and his shot he blazed over in the second half.he's definitely one of our best players, but he is also inclined to pick up cards, and I'd rather have him on the pitch against the chavs than Palace
No - matter, Ange has set his stall out, he plays his best team every time
Not sure how long his patience with Richie will last though, unless a LHS attacking mid is where he sees him.
I was glad to see that as I don't think Richy should be at the club beyond summer.Last night was the first time I saw Ange annoyed with Richy when he tried to control the ball with his back to be clever and gave it away needlessly and his shot he blazed over in the second half.
What Rule is that then?
100% Agree, I know its 1 game at a time and all but Hjojberg was good yesterday and we only looked shit in the middle when Skippy replaced SARR, if SARR is fit then the same midfield as yesterday please!would start the same midfield 3 that started yesterday and then start Bissouma vs Chavski who have 3 runners in their midfield which makes Bissouma vital in that game.
The rule that we play our best players.
The rule that Ange plays his best team.
fuck that. Biss has to manage his way through the game to avoid a booking if he wants to play against Chelsea. Too many of his bookings have been needless so that’s something that I’m sure he’ll improve on. Friday night is our biggest game of the season. We need to treat it like that.100% Agree, I know its 1 game at a time and all but Hjojberg was good yesterday and we only looked shit in the middle when Skippy replaced SARR, if SARR is fit then the same midfield as yesterday please!
Thanks..and agree , personally same team as last night, ain't broken don't fix it injuries aside , palace will compete as strongly as any in midfieldFrom up my way Purley. I don’t live too far. All the best to you mate and sorry to hear about your wife
As for the game, what an opportunity to go 5 points clear and ramp the pressure up on the others. No Eze or Olise is massive for us. A real chance to grab the 3 points.
I'd start Biss against Palace tbh, and if we get a 2 goal lead, take him off. Palace are shit but love a surprise win against a big team.would start the same midfield 3 that started yesterday and then start Bissouma vs Chavski who have 3 runners in their midfield which makes Bissouma vital in that game.
