Match Wolves (A) - Saturday 11th November 12:30pm KO

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Good news is we have a 2 week break, time for Bentancur to continue and finalise his comeback.

So at Villa directly after the break :

- We gain an almost fully fit Bentancur but lose Bissouma for one match.
- Udogie back after a one match suspension - he adds to our attacking and passing forward options. He and Porro key with Maddison out

Dier more concerned with hands behind rather than closing down the player. We loose in the 97th minute. Now please, the manager has to understand that when he has his first eleven, then playing from the back will work but when you are forced to replace them with mediocre players, you can’t play from the back constantly. The are not technically good enough. All though we’ve started the season well, somewhere in the back of our minds , we’ve knownthat our bench wasn’t good enough and ,we have been unlucky that so many good players have been laid off at the same time. Without a decent bench ,you’re going to struggle in this league. Bring on Villa, COYS

People are having a pop at the usual suspects but where was Bissouma today? He’s dropped off a cliff in recent weeks, he showed nothing today and was lucky not to get another red.
Absolutely. Personally thought Dier was shit so happy to see criticism of him, but the likes of Son and Bissouma really let us down today too.

They needed to step up and were found severely wanting.

No point in denying it, we’re in very deep trouble now. We had 4 irreplaceable players (VDV, Romero, Maddison, and Son) and three are gone. Son was also dreadful today, really disappointing not to see him step up considering the crisis.

It’s been pretty clear since the beginning of the season that our first eleven is excellent, but the loss of any one of them and we’re really in a bad spot. And then they started dropping like flies.

A great skill in life is not compounding your mistakes, staunching the bleeding. Our club has just never been able to do that. Since Romero got tangled up and kicked out at that Chelsea player, it’s been like a snowball rolling down hill gathering in size and momentum, mistake after mistake. We’re going for struggle to recover from this until the new year. Our fixture list is brutal now.

We're fortunate to have picked up the points early, as it's going to be absolutely brutal now. I guess we're hoping Ange might somehow work miracles with the players outside the first 11, but even he can't polish the turds that we're stuck with.
