I'm still seething from the tackle on Hot Rod, he was targeted by that poor excuse of a footballer - think it was him that injured Doherty when he was playing well for us. I'm tempted to run on the pitch and land him a kick where it hurts (and that useless ref!), might be worth the lifetime ban!
Also looked like a really bad tackle on Pedro - how was that not checked by VAR?????
Some lovely football on view but we need to bury our chances, as for the umpteenth game in a row, none of our players are getting the protection they deserve.

No doubt Dier is better in the air, but if you’ve watched the first 45 and seen how well we’ve played you’d know that doesn’t happen with Dier.

You lose more than you gain by bringing him on. Hence the haha’s
 
Besides poor finishing, The only concerning part of the half is that we fell off the last 10-15 minutes and it’s safe to assume that we can’t maintain the intensity we had the first 30.

We don’t exactly have promising options on the bench.
