Aspirations of anything significant were pretty much written off after the Chav game.
Losing Maddison, VDV long term fucked us. Romero being a numpty and getting a 3 match ban fucked us.
The reality is that Angeball is great, works a treat and lovely to watch. We just don't have the required quality of players in the final third to make it work at this level, or the squad depth to keep plodding on when we get injuries to key players.
I'm not too fussed though, it sucks but we're in a good place and our future looks bright just as long as our bald overlord gets the chequebook out and backs Ange over the summer.
