Manager Ange Postecoglou

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I get that as a club op it's not his job to critique, but I really don't like that bloke.... Appears out of nowhere, acts like one of the boys and chatters like he's on par with the gaffa and the ex pro's like Clive etc.

Know your level, fella.
100%....................... saying that Paul Coyte is beginning to grate on me.
Must be an age thing but all the razmataz is cringeworthy

Ludicrous comment....... Whatever backdrop you care to utter it in.

No it is not.

Team WAS pressing high. And it WAS pressing with high line.
Ange either does not want the team to have directness in attacking movements (unless counter-attacking which never was option against bus-parkers). Or he is unable to teach/instruct this to our players.
In both options this is on him.

We also had no attacking directness against Wolves and against Villa and no adjustment was made.

We all love the style of play that Ange has instilled in us but sometimes, you have to win by digging in & winning ugly. No team wins the league by playing pretty, attacking, free flowing football every game, sometimes, you have to grind out results which is something that at the moment, we don’t seem capable of doing. To be ahead in our last 5 games & losing 4 of them is ridiculous, it’s relegation form.

Not under the cosh yet but needs to instill a no lpse mentality, whilst we are going through this winless run.

It's losing that piles the pressure on.

It's not just the quality of the players but the character of the team that needs to strengthen.

All back to that pr!ck Romero's lack of discipline.

As for mistakes, we must make more every season than any other. Just weird, and somehow Postecoglou needs to find a remedy.

Our naive and raw players need to step up and show they are learning. We have dominated the games against Villa and West Ham yet lost both. There’s a lack of conviction in attack and a lack of concentration in defence.

To be expected from a young team that is still trying to forget the bad habits they picked up from Mou and Conte, but we need results. We can’t keep playing well and losing, a little bit more aggression and we will go on another winning run.

We've definitely ground out results this season.

The main issue is a certain section of the fanbase were wanting to jump on Ange from the start because of his background. But they couldn't because of how great we started. It pained them.

Now we hit a bump and they're out. Luckily, they are a minority and pretty easy to ignore.

Expectations can change through a season, but that doesn't detract from what your original goals were. Most people on here thought we'd finish fucking mid table without Kane. Now they're crying that we could indeed be mid table after 16 games. Despite us sitting 5th and 3 points off fourth currently...

We were incredibly silly against Chelsea and it cost us. We were poor against Wolves, arguably our worst performance of the season. Incredibly unlucky against Villa, three offside goals and hit the post twice and should have blown West Ham away. There's enough promise in the performance to realise we're heading in the right direction but quite clearlys lack a few things, including two key players that make this system tick.

We knew as soon as our injuries and suspensions hit that we needed to stay strong and just back the team and manager, support them nd get to January where we can hopefully reinforce the squad and get closer to bringing everyone back into the mix. A few results doesn't change that.

Anybody panicking and wanting Ange out can suck my filthy.

Honestly, have a look at the squad he has at his disposal right now.

He gets a free pass all season and I don't give a fuck what anybody says.

I agree that people who want Ange out can suck my balls for breakfast.

But squad issues is fucking tossers excuse - arguably we were without VDV, Bentancur and Maddisson.
Getting on without 3 starting players is managers everyday job.

I can promise you its over. We’ve been here time and time again. The hope… the glaring signs. And those thinking Levy will back him when it matters are dreaming. A very sick nightmare this club has become. Lose to newcastle and its 1 point from 6 games. Weve sacked managers for less. He just seems a bit out of depth recently. Playing pretty football isnt enough in this league and we will get punished like this all season.

Im sorry to say this. I like the man. But we all know whats coming.
Flipping state of this post!

Give your head a wobble!

Needs to ride this mini storm, be given some players in the window, get some of the injured back and should be fine.

As long as Newcastle, United and that filth club continue to struggle he will be okay, as they soak some of the attention.

If they start to do better and our slide continues then it might get hairy.

A lack of an out and out striker (or better options) and the loss of Maddison and Bentancur are savage blows. Our best 2 by far.

Everyone is pointing out out problems but no one is offering solutions which speaks volumes...
It’s like some posters missed the way we played in the first 10 games, and then have totally failed to notice that key personnel are missing!!

The injuries have highlighted the lack of squad depth, together with the lack of a clinical finisher.

We created countless chances, but failed to put them away and that bit us on the bum by gifting them two goals.

Talk of ejecting Ange is absolute lunacy!
