Fuck that,I want a guy who has a pride in defending. Dragusin is very competent on the ball but it’s his attributes in terms of defending that should be the biggest factor in this. We don’t ask centre halfs to do anything special with the ball.
Todibo having attitude issues is a red flag for me. If he comes and then doesn’t play because Romero and VDV are preferred how do we think that will go?
Not taking the piss but when was the last player that was pissed off for not playing and then had a bad attitude when they did get a chance?
Players with bad attitudes are a cancer in dressing rooms. I’m pretty sure Ange won’t go for someone who might mess with the harmony of his dressing room. And Dragusin is a better defender. We need guys who defend for their lives. Watch this guy and you’ll see what I mean. I’ve only seen Todibo a couple of times and he’s very mobile and good on the ball.
Being pissed off is fine.
I’m not going to make any judgements until I see anyone play for Spurs tbh. Unless I’ve really watched them a lot and I’ve definitely not seen either of these.
Have seen some saying that Dragusin isn’t the best defender at Genoa though. Honestly have no idea but Todibo moves like he could be amongst the very best CBs out there.
He’s by far their best defender mate. I watch Italian football a lot and every time I’ve seen Genoa he stands out. I’ve not seen enough of Todibo to really comment on him though.
The ball is also a magnet to him in both boxes.

He’s got everything you want in a defender. He’s quick,aggressive,reads danger,puts his head in where it hurts,decent on the ball and a big threat at set pieces. Having Romero,VDV and him and we’d be in a great place when all fit.
You know who else was supposedly trouble with an attitude 'James Maddison'. I love how people just rush to judgement on people they don't know. Looking dispassionately on how we play, as players Todibo wins. But even the thickest contributor might have noticed the bits where I repeat I felt his signing was unlikely. The internet home of the perpetually confused.
whether we are in for him remains to be seen but he fits the profile we are looking for and he’d be cheaper than Todibo.

Dier has been a good servant of the club but he is now slow and passive, hence why he doesn’t play and Ange would rather play full backs at CB.
He looks ridiculously OP he is an excellent one on one defender brilliant recovery pace and he can pass and manipulate the ball like a midfielder. He has all the tools. Not sure why it didn't work at Barca but when you see him prime its obvious why they wanted him.
Virtually every player he tackles in that compilation goes over.... he may as well be given an immediate 5 match ban before he even signs for us...
