If he’s still working on a new contract out doesn’t fucking sound like we are signing him early next week

It's media training 101 mate.

He's not going to flat out say, nah I ain't signing I want to move on is he? His words mean fuck all at thus moment in time.

He hasn't signed a new deal and if we offer Genoa a good fee. He definitely won't be signing a new deal.

You know who else was supposedly trouble with an attitude 'James Maddison'. I love how people just rush to judgement on people they don't know. Looking dispassionately on how we play, as players Todibo wins. But even the thickest contributor might have noticed the bits where I repeat I felt his signing was unlikely. The internet home of the perpetually confused.
I get what you're saying, my man. And that's a good & fair point. That said, I think with Madders it's more a case of fans of opposing teams being so sick of being done by him & Leicester that they made him out to be a cunt. He's got that kinda face too and he's never been shy about trolling fans back. But you talk to his previous clubs and their fans, they ain't got a bad word to say about the lad. Also, he's been doing the business for years in the PL, his talent is a guarantee. Heck, we know what a true gentleman Harry Kane is, but you talk to fans of our competitors, not even Woolwich/Chelsea/Spam, they friggin hate the man...but it's just cause he destroyed them time & again.

Todibo's left a sour taste at Toulouse, Barca, Schalke, Benfica. I can also tell you there are a fair few Nice fans who wouldn't be too distraught at the idea of selling him for a decent bag. Fans of the NT still not too impressed with him laughing during a minute's silence...and his lame ass excuse afterwards. There was the Galtier affair too. Even the lad himself has acknowledged to acting a right brat earlier in his career...but obviously that would tend to show he's matured a bit.

Were he to sign for us, I'd welcome & support him, obviously. I'd want him to be a success here, cause that'd mean the team is doing well.

But right now, you gimme a choice between Todibo & Dragusin, I'm going with the Romanian every time. Call it the Ndombele legacy, but I'm just not willing to take a chance on a lad with that many red flags to his name.

Let’s sign Radu Drago for the backline.

i must break you dolph lundgren GIF

according to Rudy Galetti, Tottenham are following Kone, who has been shining for Bundesliga club Borussia Monchengladbach.

As well as Spurs, Liverpool are apparently in pursuit of the 22-year-old, the journalist reported on X.

In addition, French giants Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly added him to their wishlist too.

Kone certainly fits the bill as an Ange Postecoglou signing for Tottenham.

He is a top talent who, at just 22 years of age, has a high ceiling and plenty of years ahead of him.

Admittedly, it has not been a great season for Kone, who hasn’t featured much due to injury and suspension.

Nevertheless, he’s an outstanding player who has earned plaudits from many peers and commentators in recent years.

Tottenham target Manu Kone is ‘one of the most impressive players in the Bundesliga’
For instance, Get German News Football claimed in summer that Kone ‘will become one of Europe’s best’.

Meanwhile, Jacek Kulig of Football Talent Scout lauded his display against Bayern Munich in February, deeming him a ‘one-man army’.

In addition, outing website Breaking the Lines wrote a comprehensive report on Kone last year, in which they sung his praises.

‘Kone has been one of the most impressive players in the Bundesliga this season,’ they wrote at the time. ‘Showcasing his versatility, athleticism, and technical ability.

‘Standing at 6’1”, Kone is an imposing figure in midfield, but he also possesses great speed and agility.

‘This allows him to cover a lot of ground on the pitch and make an impact both defensively and offensively.

‘In addition, Kone is a very good passer of the ball and has an excellent work ethic.’

In terms of his price tag, Fabrizio Romano said on X in the summer that Kone could be available for €35/40million (around £30/35million).

Let’s see what happens in the coming weeks. Tottenham will certainly fancy their chances of signing Kone, but Spurs are up against some stiff competition.

even getting dragusin i would love us to go for branthwaite in the summer to boost the hg quota too
Would be difficult to achieve on our budget, and if we already get Dragusin and he turns out to be decent.

A player like Davies would accept being a backup, but Branthwaite wouldn't. We can get away with one quality CB being a backup but not two.

Romero - Micky - Dragusin - Big Ben...that's a quartet I'm happy with for next season, when hopefully we'll have better luck with injuries & no more silly reds.

Send one of the two kiddos on loan to another PL team (or top of Champo) so they get minutes week in week out...and give the other some decent gametime in the domestic cups or even Europe (especially if we play in Europa League).

3 Brits, 3 foreigners...that's good balance re quotas.

Translation : My squad is shit mate but bald cunt has told me there is no money in January unless we can flog Lloris, Ndombele, and Dier for £30m a pop. Joe's yaught has thrown a propeller. I might get some cheap cunt you have to google on loan"

Ange doesn't need a translator.

"Obviously there’s stuff happening but I’ve been focused on the game. I’m sure we’ll hear something next couple of days.’

Been on about this kid for while. Think he's got the same sort of skill set as Bissouma. Athletic, quick, press resistant. Think he'd be good in our structure for the 6.

As you say Levy has brought in Munn, Lange (our very own Hinge and Bracket) to source talent for now and the near future.

If Levy doesn't intend to use these new guys to source much needed players in the January window then why employ them at all?

All i have seen so far are youngsters being scouted, to go with our current youngsters that we have that will hopefully mature into first team regulars in or around 2035.

Bill Murray has a lot to answer for.
Which youngsters are you referring to? Udogie? VDV? Romero? Sarr? Porro?

If we're scouting youngsters to go with these then I hope we carry on.
