In fairness to Werner, he was constantly getting into good goal scoring positions with Chelsea, he just couldn't hit a barn door. His confidence in front of goal visibly deteriorated as a result.

If we do get him, we can but hope that he's put that behind him. If he has, we could have a player on our hands.

It's a fantastic solution considering its January and he has the attributes needed to play in Anges system.

Again, not all the boxes for me either.

He doesn’t help us keep the ball or create anything 1v1.

But he’s a decent Son stand in that has the pace and movement to get chances to score and he will work hard to press without the ball.

I like it. But we haven’t signed Rafa Leao

What about what Totti posted is going to make 10 goals in almost 60 pl appearances for a striker sound good?

It’s a stop-gap. Considering how his career has been post Chelsea I have incredibly low expectations.
