Maybe. You guys have been telling me for many years enic/levy will take us to the next level & win us things. Always been very wrong & then we move a few steps in the right direction & you forget what went on before & somehow shocked when they mess it up. Until we start winning things I am not getting carried away.

Not forgotten anything and not getting carried away either mate.

I am enjoying watching my team play again and feeling optimistic every time I see them play.

There is levels to the game though mate.. remember when everyone was calling for Troy Parrot in Kane's absence.... The lad has only played 4 minutes of prem football since and probably didn't touch the ball.
I get there are levels to the game. If that's the case and Donley, Santiago are just put on the bench for numbers then they should also be playing the U23's. Train with the first team all you want but game time matters, especially for developing players. Either send on loan or let them play matches. They can handle 90min in U23's and a 5 min cameo at end of games.

Before the game and considering how many we were missing, a draw was a half decent result. However, that is a god awful utd team and we bossed them for most parts, should have won, but the lack of quality and missing players cost us in the end.
The illnesses were kept quiet and rightly so, but we missed Kulu , esp with so many others absent
Porro had a bit of a nightmare first half, but improved well in the second and played decent going forward, some cracking corner kick deliveries.
Bents and udogie motm for me. Johnson really poor, hoijberg not much better, constantly giving away possession. Werner gets a pass, will need time to settle. Very worrying the lack of attacking options on the bench today, cannot afford to be this poor against City in the cup.

Has anyone checked on Michael R Teta, im really worried
He looks all fresh and good!!

I’ve definitely not come here for deep and meaningful points.

:harrylol:
Good! Although you do get some good little nuggets now & then. Things most people didn’t notice or spot. Or people who watch far more football & from all over the world.

We are moving in the right direction & finally doing the overdue rebuild which is good. Back 5 sorted for many years. Not including the winter signings, the only signing I am unsure of is Johnson but your biased as he is welsh 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿. But that’s not to say he can’t develop & improve. & I don’t think he is rubbish, more like a 7 out of 10 player. It is when you make a very early judgement call. Same way that a new player can look poor but you go against the grain & think they will come good. Werner I think will just be a stop gap & never even seen the new CB.

I just think enic/levy have messed up again as last season & this season is quite weak so had they not made so many mistakes we would be in a great position to capitalise with a better team & kane banging them in. Oh well! You are right about there being nothing we can do about it now so may as well be positive & move forward. I just worry that’s how you all get suckered in again & then surprised when enic & levy let you down & suddenly we are making fun of the hammers for winning a trophy we weren’t good enough to qualify for.
Also if I shut up repeating myself, you lot will call me captain hindsight. But yeah I try not to mention enic/levy most days now. So I am doing well. Like a smoker cutting down their fags.

Yes, the gulf in quality between our subs & theirs tells a story...though who scored their winner? A kid with less experience than Bryan.

The main reason they won is they kept trying and trying, they showed real hunger to go get that third goal. Had we pushed like that tonight, we'd have won too.
Yeah I got that feeling. They were in the ropes a bit and we just didn’t keep going. I know we have injuries but I always thought Ange was brave and we only play one way. Wish he’d shown a little bravery in giving one of the kids a few mins at the end. Manure had some real youngsters playing. There is just no way any of them would be less affective as BJ.

I do agree with you to some extent. But because of the nature of our season, some of our younger players are closer to the first team not because of merit but because of injuries.

I want our youth players to do well but if they're not ready then they're not ready.

If there smashing it in training and not getting picked then yeah I get that but haven't heard anything of the sort.

We will see near end of window about loans I think.
