He might want to stay as preference but not be against a move should Chelsea want to get rid. It sounds like they are forcing him out, he was excellent for Palace on loan, he is a very professional hard working player, I very doubt there is any attitude problem. It’s Chelsea having fucked FFP needing to move home grown for pure profit. If FFP wasn’t around no way would Gallagher be up for sale.

He's not signing a new deal with them (similar to boyhood fan Mount) as they have brought in less important players on higher wages and he wants somewhere near parity. It doesn't look likely that will happen so at an impasse with Chelsea seemingly preferring to sell than give him the contract he wants.

Don't want him but if he cared that much about staying he would sign a contract.

He definitely isn’t getting Chelsea level wage parity if he signs with us. It’s luncheon vouchers and a travel card.
 
Don't think we'll get any further additions before the window closes tomorrow.

We shouldn't just be signing for the sake of making a signing. Gallagher is clearly someone who Ange really rates.. If it isn't to happen this window then wait until the summer. Our midfield is more than enough considering we have a game a week until the end of the season now.

Nusa is an exciting prospect, but if he's carrying a potential dangerous injury already, and is yet starting from Brugges then I can understand why we aren't paying what they want.

Players have to stay for 2 years there to take advantage of the tax breaks. They all knew that before signing up but because they are thick as shit and arrogant footballers, it's probably pretty safe to assume they didnt think the rules applied to them.
 
Gallagher always had the feel of those deals that rumble on to the last hour but nothing happens.

We are definitely interested but I guess we are trying to call Chelsea's bluff. Could be one for the summer.

Think a youngster bought and sent back out on loan is probably the most we could manage now. Onion bhaji maybe.

Getting PEH out the door might have changed that.
