Match Everton - Spurs - Feb 3rd - 12:30pm KO

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I'm not a big fan of brennan but he gets a reward for coming on and making a difference. That's how it should be.
Nah, I would have done the same, again.

Keep the pressure off; let him continue to build from the bench.

This is a bit risky; against Everton, especially; who are going to defend hard and make it really difficult to get through.

He just likes to run in straight lines, isn't inventive and appears one-dimensional.

I'd be much happier defending against him, as a proposition, than Kulu; who has a bit more craft to his game (though, I accept he could be a bit tired).

And we really need to win this.

I want to see him work hard to attempt to support Porro on Everton's counters.

Actually, think some grit, our side of the flank, will help his game flow better, generally.

Anyway, hope he can build from brentford, rather than tank and get yanked.

Needs to be on a positive trajectory.

Surprised to see Kulu benched as I had him down as one of Ange's undroppables alongside Son.

As others have said, I would have stuck with Kulu and left Johnson to run at tired legs late on.

That said, Kulu has been hardly pulling up trees recently so there's not too much between them right now.

Just got off the phone with my boss who was trying to get me to drive an hour and a half on my day off to shut the water off on a site because there's a leak downstairs and the owner clearly can't figure out how to work a fucking stop-cock.

Politely reminded him that Spurs were playing and that he'll just have to stay wet.

Those of you not picking Sarr or Kulusevski are out to lunch.

I think there’s absolutely zero chance that Deki loses his spot regardless of his performances of late.

Likewise, the position Sarr occupies has been what has jackknifed our performances of late having PEH or Skipp in there. He’s going to be starting, but may get taken off around 70 min mark for PEH.

Btw 38 year old Ashley young starting at right mid in the Premier League is mental.
Hope we stay alert to Young and put him in his place. He’s always been a snidey player in my opinion who leaves his studs in and then proclaims his innocence. At 38 and having lost a yard or two of pace, I think he could be even worse. Hopefully, Udogie will shrug him off like swatting a fly.
