ok I've see we've reached the part of the debate when you turn into an over emotional man child again
I think we're done here, have a good evening

if we get a new striker my guess is Ivan Toney. We need a top striker no matter the cost
We can afford it...*sigh*
No one has.
yea hes all arse and hips. uses his body well in duals. i actually like watching him. hes got a bit of cuteness to his game too when required. makes villa solid in the middle of the park which is the most important area.Doesn't get the credit he deserves because he is not very pleasing to the eye. Has an awkwardness to his style.
He's built like Andy Reid.
I bet he's great at darts.
Not a wannabe like Maddison.
A lot better than we have now although his age is a concern...
We won't get CL now but, even if we could have got something at Fulham and west ham, this could have been so different.I'm not worried about Postecoglou saying "No Plan B" or not being concerned about set pieces. I don't think he means everything he says literally. He's created an image that plays to what fans like to hear and uses it to send messages to the players (which all coaches do). He's still a coach and coaches know they have to win to continue in the job. So, while I don't think he's going to take the opponent into account and ever drop back and park the bus, I do think he will make in game adjustments. And he will adjust personnel and substitutions based on the opponent and situation and that's a kind of Plan B. I imagine they will spend more time on set pieces in practice going forward and might even hire a specialist coach for that but just not announce that as his job. Postecoglou seems, to me, to be stubborn and he'll keep saying the same thing over and over when he doesn't need to. All this stuff about not wanting to make Champions League if the team isn't progressing. That's just conveying an attitude. He gets paid to win and, who knows what's in his contract that incentivizes certain goals. I listen to what the manager says and disregard about half of it.

It's just the usual suspects using the loss as an excuse to dig out anyone who showed any positivity this season.
It's interesting to note that the post count of these posters goes up exponentially when we lose, but die off by the same rate when we're doing well.
I read through the match thread yesterday, and you could actually see the glee from them, that they got the chance to REALLY hook into the posters they don't like.
This is a proper nasty forum at times.

Arteta was mocked by the majority of (if not all) Spurs fans not long ago, so I don’t know if it should prove anything.
So sell Richarlison....Last I heard was Spurs are willing to pay £45m for Ivan Toney but Brentford want £60m.
Just checking , you are joking about the woman appointment arnt you?
I've got this notion in my head that Ange has got Gallagher pencilied in as captian material.A lot better than we have now although his age is a concern...

No, and I still don't. He's spend nearly a billion quid, and had 37 years in charge. If he wasn't challenging for the title they'd be questions...
No idea. I'm not a football scout, I work in IT.
Probably not tbh.
Why not? She couldn't do any worse than some of the utter dickheads we've had in charge.
He's an Olympic gold medalist at barrel scraping....Nah... this is Levy remember. I reckon he'll donwhat he always does, get the cheapest available option and then give himself another payrise.
According to a Chris Cowlin video that I recently watched we're hoping to sell 6 players this summer to raise £100m.Nah... this is Levy remember. I reckon he'll donwhat he always does, get the cheapest available option and then give himself another payrise.
I love him.
No nonsense, effective in possession and out of possession and gives you everything.
He's carried Villa to the top 4.
