In some ways this second half was even sadder than the first, because we’ve actually had so many chances to create a chance and maybe score more goals, but even when it got easier, our forward bumblers, especially Son, still made it look really fucking hard.
I can understand someone being kind and giving us credit for the first fake comeback, back in December at Brighton.
However, the more it keeps happening, the only conclusion to come to is that the team doesn't have the appetite to compete in the way we need to from minute 1. We need the opposition to wind down the gears before we feel there's something in it for us. No credit to be taken from this.

Maddison has been shit ever since he got injured. Were flat track bullies atm.
We started trying when they brought on a bunch of their crappest players and sort of fell asleep because it was 4-0 and we had presented no challenge for the entire time. Then we woke up for about 10 minutes and scored a couple, at which point they went 'oh, better try again' and they took over and should've scored another.
