Manager Ange Postecoglou

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I guess you're all gonna get what you want, he doesn't look or sound like someone who's gonna be here after next week.

People were saying the same after the Chelsea game. Next day he calmed down and was back to his usual self.
Seems to get quite emotional at times , and of course this club can drive any manger crazy .

Lost cause until were taken over by someone with a real desire to win rather build a profitable brand

He can fume all he wants but at the end of the day thats 5 defeats out of 6. If we had just won one of those games this result wouldnt have mattered.
Yep. Mentality of the fans stems from what is on the pitch, not the other way around. And what is on the pitch, well that stems from good recruitment and competitive wages, which is a manager and chairman problem. It is backwards to blame the fans for wanting one over their rivals.

In all seriousness I hope, if anything, Ange learnt this season that a win over Woolwich and Chelsea and West Ham at home is worth its weight in gold come the end of the season. Fans will forgive another 5th season if he just does the basics against any rivals at home. It goes a long way. Even things like how to play Newcastle away took Poch a couple of attempts.

Is it a trophy? No. But respecting and beating rivals is important progress in the right direction.

First mistake he has made in a press conference all year, I got the feeling in the pre match press conference that he wanted to go over the top on the stuff about Woolwich to make it absolutely clear he doesn't let his standards slip (as he should, he's the manager of a football club not a fan).

But don't tell the fans what to think, in the same way he said 'let the fans be excited' when we were top, you couldn't understand how it would feel to have Woolwich win the league, I don't expect you to, but don't tell us how to feel.

To caveat that, I get the feel that maybe it was more directed at maybe some of the players slacking off in training or even there must have been some talk about it inside the club, that's the only thing that would warrant those comments.

Guess that is another one gone soon...

I don't understand his "last 48 hours" nonsense. We have lost 5 in 6, did you think that was acceptable? Also: "Inside. Outside. Everywhere"...It isn't my fucking fault you twat.

"I don't see fourth as the prize," said the Spurs boss. "I don't want to finish fourth if we haven't grown as a team." this man said this just a few months back, now he's suddenly upset we didn't get 4th? Where was this anger a few weeks back?

As far as I am aware, we haven't grown as a team have we? Did I miss the memo?

I think he's deflecting with the "last 48 hours" nonsense and making a real fool of himself now whenever he steps in front of the press.

Funny how he hints at both "inside and outside" the club, so basically he's upset with everyone now because of what exactly? Has Levy told him he won't be getting backing in the summer? Or is he just upset because people both inside the club and the supporters outside didn't want the scum to win the league?

He was given this job off the back of Celtic, he isn't doing us a favour by being here, he should use one of his motivational speeches on himself and get on with his job and improve the team for next season.

Although let's face it, the way that press conference went, he likely won't be here anyway.

I fear the fella might be an idiot, sad to see.

Lets see how he handles next season. If you talk big, you have to back it up. Absolute shite football since a few months and we wouldnt have been in this position with the bullshit approach he took in some matches.

Wouldn't be shocked if he walks, seems really pissed off.

Well, mate.

Some of the performances have been fucking pure shite this season and I've been pissed off too. Possibly more than you, as I was here long before you turned up and will be here long after you're gone.

I'm an Ange fan but sometimes he's an arrogant prick.

After Chelsea he was livid with the players. Thats fine, he can get rid of those. This seems more generally like his Conte moment where he's calling into question the character of the club itself, board and fans alike.
