First mistake he has made in a press conference all year, I got the feeling in the pre match press conference that he wanted to go over the top on the stuff about Woolwich to make it absolutely clear he doesn't let his standards slip (as he should, he's the manager of a football club not a fan).
But don't tell the fans what to think, in the same way he said 'let the fans be excited' when we were top, you couldn't understand how it would feel to have Woolwich win the league, I don't expect you to, but don't tell us how to feel.
To caveat that, I get the feel that maybe it was more directed at maybe some of the players slacking off in training or even there must have been some talk about it inside the club, that's the only thing that would warrant those comments.
