Great news for us. They were a mess and he sorted it and had them improving. Hopefully that decision sets them back to the bottom half of the table.

Surely they're not going to raid Brighton again?

Kompany perhaps?

Among the names likely to be considered will be Stuttgart’s Sebastian Hoeness, Girona’s Michel, Ipswich Town’s Kieran McKenna, who has been lined up by Brighton, and Leicester City’s Enzo Maresca.

If they're replacing him Mourinho/Conte/Tuchel, then that'd be one thing. I think they'd be crazy, but you can see their logic in trying to get back to a "win now " culture or whatever. But by all accounts they want to replace him Mckenna or Maresca. Another project manager, with far less pedigree than Pochettino. Just when their team was really starting to look a concern for next season.

So strange for them to persevere with him through all the noise from their fans in the middle of the season. Only to then sack him when they start picking up real momentum.

Interesting. Can't say it looks like the best landscape for potential managerial appointments at the moment, so we'll see how this pans out...
I can easily see Boehly just going for De Zerbi because of his Brighton fetish.

As for Poch. He'll land on his feet. I could see Milan going for him if they haven't chosen a new manager yet. And Poch is definitely ballsy/psycho enough to think that he can fix Bayern if they come calling.

Going from Poch to Maresca and a guy named Hoeness is quite the fall.

I’m here for it.

I think they want a yes man manager who they can control who just coaches the team and has 0 input into signings, aint nothing wrong with that but everyone needs to be on the same page for that to happen.

There's obviously a massive disconnect at Chelsea between recruitment and coach, they signed another young Brazilian the other day so I don't see their policy changing any time soon, mental.

Green shoots where just starting

Wonder if him leaving is due to the reported deal they have struck to sell Gallagher and Chaloba to us?

Maybe been told he's gonna lose a few and more young blood will be brought in.

Dont blame him for jumping ship either way
