The Gallagher one is interesting, Chelsea currently have 3.5 weeks to sell some homegrown players so unless they manage to sell Broja, Chalobah, Maatsen anytime soon this 'we demand £50m' is a massive bluff. Factor in the Euro's as well. All clubs wanting those players need to make them sweat.

Surprised we didnt try and get something for Tanganga but thats 2 of the outs done already which is a start. Just Royal, Spence, Reggie, Rodon, Lo Celso, Hojbjerg, Gil and Solomon to go then see where we are with Forster, Davies, Skipp, Parrott and Richarlison.

Not even including N'Dombele, will have to be loaned again or paid off.

Credit the club for not extending him and trying to get a fee.

We have let the kid go and decide his next club based on the best offer for him. That’s a positive tick for the club when it comes to dealing with academy kids

I think you are making a very important point.

I was wondering why we are seeing so much news about Chelsea spending big and not worrying about FFP.

It’s PR and they want to make out like they don’t need to sell. All a bluff otherwise Gallagher would have been extended months ago.

I dont know enough about FFP/PSR but i cant believe they're not in the shit. They already spent about £30m on another kid from Brazil, paid off Poch and had to buy out Marescas and his coaches contracts so thats the thick end of another £50m. They are just fronting it up like its all no big deal to avoid the vultures picking them apart.

This is why this window is so important. Ive said before, the City era is coming to an end, either organically with Pep leaving and elder players retiring, ensuring City would still be competitive but at more 'normal levels', cases were they might have an off season and get around 75 points. However now City face a very real threat to the fact FFP has teeth and its coming for them.

There is going to be a window of opportunity in the seasons ahead. And as it stands right now, its the Goons who are best placed to capitalize. I don't really want to wish for a strong Man United or Liverpool to stop them. I would rather we stop them.

Players like Werner are not it. If we don't seriously invest this window then the forthcoming years are not going to be nice.
Very true and absolutely zero indication over the last 20 odd years that Levy has the bollocks to take advantage.

That's a real sorry list.

Whats that about 120m? Fucking hell.

That's before we even consider that they are making any attempt to actually operate like a business for their own good.

No investor will throw money away forever. What do they have to achieve to start making money again? Young players with no established brands won't help that any time soon and they aren't guaranteed a CL spot next season. What happens when the Saudi funding at the back end dries up?

Sooner or later a disaster is coming at chelseas. If they get points deducted, probably sooner rather than later.
