However, if little Newcastle are getting involved in this transfer. Then what the hell are we doing?

I think we get away with LCB / CB due player and RB.

Gives cover like this for the back 4.

LB: Udogie / VDV / New hybrid player
LCB: VDV / New Hybrid Player
RCB: Romero / Dragusin / Phillips or Dorrington
RB: Porro / New

For the CM x 3, I think 6 quality + 1/2 youth

Bissouma / Bentancur / Maddison / Sarr / New / New + youth

Still, that is 4 new signings before we have touched the bigger problem of the front 3.
The new hybrid left centreback will cover left back so no need for a hybrid left back

Have you watched him play in seria a ....think last season was a bit stop start for him down to injury..not many games played . But 22/3 season he' was a f@cin handful.. put his 6ft
plus frame about and turned into a proper target man. PLUS has really quick feet aka crouchy ..if we can get a deal owing to 22/3 i'de have him..

Does he take us up a level and catch up the 25 points to City in 1st?

If not then we shouldn’t be interested in any forwards that don’t fit that criteria

I agree. I think Abraham could be a good member of the squad and represent genuine competition for Richy at ST. And who are we kidding? We usually sign Gil and Velejo type players- seems greedy for fans to be turning down these sort of links compared to the business we normally do.

In Serie A maybe but he was out of his depth in the Premier League...I'm no fan of Richarlison but bringing in Abrahams would be a huge mistake...Ange can't possibly want him although for levy, the sight of a "bargain" is irresistible..if he's Ange's choice, then we can forget any silverware for the foreseeable future...

Forget thoughts of Spurs silverware for the foreseeable future. It’s not reasonable with Levy/Enic.
