Seriously though, and I do understand this is lazy transfer analysis, Arne Slot just took the Liverpool job and there have been no rumours of him wanting to bring Gimenez to Pool.

So the manager who’s just taken a high profile job and above all else needs a guaranteed goalscorer DOESN’T want to bring a 30 goal striker who won him trophies to his new club?

It's such a weird perspective to have. They claim to be "Spurs fans" but are happy to cheer for below standard players that make Spurs worse. It makes no sense.
I don't support players, coaches, or, heaven forbid, the twat at the top. I support Tottenham Hotspur Football Club (mens adult team)
And I want them to do well at all cost.

For Celtic and Yokohama these would be dream signings. His standards of player evaluation would make BJ and Gimenez the best attackers he’s ever signed by a gigantic margin. That’s the downside of hitting a small time manager, who doesn’t have experience with truly world class players. Need higher standards.
