Bet he will play CB as well.

Where does Timber go? they signed him for 40m last summer.

Big clubs don't sign back ups. they sign players good enough to start and then pick the players that win the battle to start.

He might do, but I reckon Arteta is looking to copy Pep and play four centre backs across the back four. Timber is bang average anyway so it doesn't really matter.

White - Saliba - Gabriel - Calafiori

Will be their back four.

Can’t both things be true?

Us going for Eze as the one we really want whilst working on Doue as a back up. They want £50m up front for Eze. It’s crazy. So it’s little wonder it’s hard to do. Plus he’s at the euros and they sold olise. It’s just not putting your eggs in one basket.
I mean here was his last post. Certainly seems very different

Timber was signed as a starting quality player for CB/RB/Lb.

Calafiori the same. White the same.

City don't sign back ups either.

We've had this conversation before so we'll just go round in circles.

Plenty of clubs sign back up players who they have in mind to either start in future or potentially sell on for more money. There's zero chance City signed Mathias Nunes to start.

1) he wasn't better than what they had
2) he's rubbish

We literally signed Dragusin in the winter to be a back up centre back. In the same way Woolwich signed Kiwior.

If we are going to spend £60m+ on Eze, I’m expecting around 10-15 goals and the same number of assists from him.

Is he that player? I’ve honestly not seen it yet. Brilliant highlight reel, but not a long one.

He just oozes class. He has the ability to just glide past players. We don’t have anyone like him at the club. Would add a needed element

This fella any good outside of this tournament?

I previously wrote the following about Barış Alper Yılmaz:

First of all, I want to talk about his hard work. According to club sources, he constantly does individual training outside of training to improve himself. Physically, he is by far the best winger in the league. He can dribble very easily using his speed and power. This characteristic reminds me of Bale. He may have trouble making decisions at times, but he is strengthening this aspect day by day. Also, it may sound strange, but last season he played in the right wing, left wing, centre forward, left back and right back positions.
You can easily see what I said in this video:

I also recommend you to watch yesterday's Türkiye-Czechia match, especially the second half.

So after buying Brennan for Ange this summer, now he's pushing for Neto.

Can we stop letting this guy dictate our transfer policy? He's gonna leave us with a legacy of wingers who are either crocked or shit.

You Brennan Johnson haters just can’t stop bringing him up huh.

And you use him as an example that Ange has a poor eye for talent?

What a baffling take.

Eze really did not do much tonight in attack. In fact, let's be honest, he did feck all.
But he did check back a couple of times and helped England in defence

We didn’t sign Dragusin to be a back up. There was no chance in hell he chose Spurs over Bayern to be a back up
