If we are selling Richy, we need x2 strikers. Jonathan David is fine, but not on his own. Zirkzee should have been targeted. Look at how united got the business done quickly. Maxi Beier would be perfectly suited. Either that or spend the money on Oshimen/Gyokeres. Gyokeres and David would be perfect, ambition and back up ambition, would need to sell richy for that, but we aint.

But its still LCB, LB, Inverted Right winger, possibly inverted left winger and Striker, plus, PEH replacement if we sell him. I cant see all of this happening in the one window. Buy a striker, Son goes back to Wing, sell PEH, then LCB and DM become priorities.

It would want to get moving. I know we signed Gray, lets face it that's for next season and after. Bergvall similar and was signed in Jan. Little over 4 weeks to go before Leicester game.

Ange likes getting players early and its not happening. I hate sounding like a negative nancy, but not looking good.

We are in such a strong financial position, sign a versatile LCB that can play LB, Sign at least 1 striker, sign 2 wingers, sign a replacement for PEH. Go big, now or never. FFP will be challenged throughout the season and it will look different next season. Villa have already signed Onana (they got rid of Luiz though).

United quick out of the trap, striker and CB and probably de ligt to follow. Greenwood on way out.

Still fuck all going on?

Stinks of the budget being less than promised and Lange being told he has to sell before he can buy.

The wallet only opened last year because they knew Kane money was coming in.
Same as it ever was. Our high activity windows are when we sell a big player... 2008 Berbatov, 2012 Modric, 2013 Bale, 2023 Kane.

Trying to think of good summer windows when we havent sold anyone of note and can only think of 2015 with Toby, Trippier and Son and maybe 2004 when we signed Robinson, Mendes and Carrick.
